Damn I loved that show. The OP is my favourite in both song and footage.

It's also based off a manga but I haven't read that yet. I've also seen the Live Action and that was just as random.

Thinking a little bit outside the box, I would consider Lucky Star... this show portrays the every day life of an otaku girl... this should be fun and random on its very own:P

I would have to recommend Arakawa Under The Bridge. It's about a bunch of homeless crazy people living under a bridge.

If you liked Arakawa Under the Bridge then you'll love Sayonara, Zetsubou Sensei!( So long, Mr. Despair!)

Super Negative Teacher. Super Positive Student. A meeting that was never supposed to happen. This series if full of wacky, LMAO moments and it features SHAFT's signature of the wall animation narration. If you can stomach a few jokes about a man's suicidal tendencies then this anime will not disappoint. The first scene will leave you laughing out loud. Nothing can be taken seriously with this anime.

BTW you want to start with Sayonara, Zetsubou Sensei and not the ones with Zoku and Zan in the title because they are different seasons of the same show. Zoku is the 2nd Season and Zan is the 3rd Season.

There is nothing more random than the "stalker chain". LOL
