Thanks for all the compliments so far, they're very flattering.
The last part of my final semester has begun, so I won't be able to generate as much output until the end of the year, but I'll probably still manage at least one picture per week. I actually have two ideas I'm working on right now, but not sure which to complete first, so.... You guys wanna see more lesbian actions or more altar ego combos? |

Since I'm such a sick and twisted soul, I find it my pleasure to give you...
http://img87.exs.cx/img87/9804/COUPLE-6-color4.jpg ...your favorite interracial couple in color. Also, here's a variation of the above image. I wanted to fill the blanks in the picture, and I found this layout to be kinda cool. http://img87.exs.cx/img87/2376/COUPLE-6-color5.jpg ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- apprently, the above links are inaccessible for some people, so here are the two images uploaded again. http://img7.exs.cx/img7/9804/COUPLE-6-color4.jpg http://img7.exs.cx/img7/2376/COUPLE-6-color5.jpg Last edited by JERI; 2004-10-02 at 04:15. |

holy shit....amazing. This and anime otakus drawings is where I set my bar. I need to reach that bar! Considering Ive only been drawing people and anime for 2 years I suppose Im on the right track, but Ive been used to drawing cars, and so picturing scenes like these just isnt happening in my head. I guess my imagination will grow as I get omore used to drawing people instead of cars. But for you, FANTASTIC WORK and I really havent got any criticisms of ANYTHING because your style and sense of proportions is wonderful.

I'm curious to know how uploading it on that particular address is gonna make a difference. I think I've experienced inability to access my own picture as well (I gave it half a day and I was able to access it again, I thought it was a minor glitch). |

These are really great!! As much as I like the girl/girl couples, the samurai girl and the wraith picture really stands out as my favorite. In most of the images you've posted, I really enjoyed the illusion that there is a story or theme in it that made me wonder more about the characters or situations (hmmm... something I need to work on my own drawings). I also think that the sepia tone from the digtial camera captures also give the images more character as well.
(Sadly, I wasn't able to see the latest two as well.)

Friend 1 - "Dude, the girls you draw suck! They're all wearing clothes!!" Me - "Jesus, I'm not drawing naked girls, okay?" Friend 1 - "Put some honest effort into it, man, even a girl that's only topless is more dignified." Me - "Seriously, dude, be a real man and draw your own porn." Friend 2 - "Interracial lesbian girls? What exactly do you have there in your twisted mind?" Me - "Yeah sure, crucify the message boy, you just don't see that this is way of the FUTURE!" Friend 2 - "That's disgusting...can you draw me two guys in the same pose?" Me - "Yikes, no! What do you have in your twisted mind? You people just can't appreciate some pure, innocent art, can you?" |

Those freckles have driven me insane! I just couldn't find a way to depict them without making the girl look like a leper. I had to admit defeat in the end and use the cliche method - dots.
http://img28.exs.cx/img28/5421/PEASANTGIRL-1.jpg This is a sketch version, there were mountains in the background, but I had drop those as well. http://img98.exs.cx/img98/1561/PEASANTGIRL-2.jpg These two aren't my best, in fact, looking at the outcom, these two are my most laughable to date. Sigh...I had such great visions. |

they're all pretty nice except for the fact that you have some slight issues with heads. they are not round/full enough--with the hair on it looks like the top part of their head is completely flat and cut off. besides that they're all very imaginative and very provocative. nose styling is a personal preference but i dunno... some times your nose style looks okay in other times it looks like the nose is caving in. instead of doing the nose in that conventional manner try creating your own style for noses. cuz you do have a very distinct style and thats cool.

The problem with digicam is that it often can not produce sharp resolutions when shooting larger pictures like the one below (it was 9 failed attempts before I even got a satisfactory shot).
Jing Yong purist will probably crucify me for abusing his novel concept like this... http://img28.exs.cx/img28/388/THE_SWORDSMAN-1.jpg I photoshopped the background with smart blur to create that chinese watercolor effect. I couldn't find the right degree blurring to make the hatching invisible while keeping the background sharp enough, but I think I did a adequate job. Here is the the concept sketch for swordsman. http://img28.exs.cx/img28/2103/THE_S...AN-concept.jpg By the way, if anybody knows how to create the chinese traditional watercolor effect with Photoshop: LEARN ME. |

This image doesn't quite have the visual impact of its predecessor, but with this one I managed to achieve that dynamic feel I originally wanted.
http://img96.exs.cx/img96/27/THE_VERMIN-1.jpg Give me some comments on the layout of the picture, can you clearly distinguish the foreground character from the background wraith? |

You'll notice with this pic the lockers and the walls appear somewhat crooked. This was somewhat intended (though not to the degree I had in mind), to portray the guy's mental turmoil.
What I didn't intend was to have the shoes turn out like that. I made some mistake when inking the shoes because I couldn't get P.O.D's "Youth of the Nation" out of my head, so I had to comprimise by turning them into the disaster you now see. http://img53.exs.cx/img53/5648/cant_..._pain_away.jpg Plz give me some comments on how well I protrayed pain/despair/anger in his facial expression. |

Yeah, I was pretty careless with the perspective in that picture. I only just realised how screwed up the perspectives were - the lockers and the guy are on different angles!
Bugger! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And here's a picture you've all been waiting for...another couple pic! http://img53.exs.cx/img53/149/COUPLE-8.jpg You probably realise that what they're doing seems out of character. That was intended, I just find it more fresh to have the usually submissive girl doing the biting. |
