Well, ending 00 was always going to be a hard thing. I wonder if they made the right choice though because the ending of the main section was really poorly done. The epilogue was okay however.

Three endings, one which came out in the movie. The second, that Setsuna comes back with about the same age as Marina. The third is that Setsuna meets with Marina's descendants.

The one about Tieria's name - it comes from the words "earth" and "angel", which has been altered a bit. Mini Tieria was Mizushima's idea and the interviewer says that it's quite a popular thing among fans.

Lots of interesting stuff there, some kanji are blurry and some whole sections are just plain blurry though.

1. What we got.

2. Old Setsuna, which wouldn't make any sense considering he's an Innovator and they age much slower, so I figure that's why they axed that one.

3. Setsuna meeting Marina's children/grandchildren, meaning Marina has kids with someone else, causing an eruption of fangirl rage to shake the internet.

...They should have went with option 3.

They only mentioned innovators age slower in the movie so no I don't think thats why it didn't make it. They probably wanted Setsuna to live long because he is far more evolved than other innovators.

Wow, if 3 happened I'd be kinda sad. I would have wanted some sort of closure for them.

I think old and frail setsuna meeting up with old and frail Marina then them both finally "understanding" each other would be very warm to the heart but no one wants to see another

Meeting with the descendants would be...unless they're incredibly hot and hentai-doujin-bait...pretty sad. It'd probably make the whole scene feel extra empty. They build up her potential in season 1, ignored in season 2, ignored for most of the movie and then dies without seeing Setsuna? My goodness...

Yeah, that would be sad but for the most part I don't think Marina was well received by people.

A lot of people like her less than Relina. I'm basing my opinion off other forums I've been to and people I've talked to about it.

They should animate the other two endings, and include them like in the movie Clue, where the alternate endings for the theatrical run where included one after the other with the last ending being the true ending.
