Is there any way that I could get a list of all the k-on songs that did not appear in the series? I'm not asking for an mp3 link, I just want to search them on youtube so I can hear them. I love k-on songs

Also, how does one living in Canada buy k-on CDs? Would I go to a store or order them online?

It's playable. The recording inside is just as you would normally hear from a cassette tape, analog sound and all. It feels real and gives you a feeling that they really existed and recorded all that.

Most likely they ordered it from the internet, like amazon or something...
I dont think you can order CDs from stores and have them shipped overseas, I dont even think stores do that.

Not episode specific, but there's a complete list of songs earlier in the thread.

I see... that's good to hear. No wonder the set is kind of pricey XD and I think that explains the K-ON! cassette player merchandise.

I think most of us who love K-ON! will shed tears too, so no need to be embarassed.

Really? In my honest opinion, it didn't fit Mio very well. It's a cutesy, upbeat song; I think Yui and Ui would fit the best (if Ui even sings it, considering she didn't sing Let's Go)

Yeah, I agree. However, it's a really difficult voice to even talk as, so it's still impressive she can sing in it too.


EDIT 1: (Will probably make more as I listen) Damn it, Joyful Todays is insanely catchy.
EDIT 2: (Wow, these edits come quickly) Just heard Azunyan's Come With Me, and like Peanutbutter003 said, it doesn't match very well. However - wow, you can hear how much effort she put into singing that one!
EDIT 3: Agreeing again with bloppyblue here, Satomi-san is a little lacking in this one. Ritsu dominated power of voice in Let's Go, but here, Azusa trumped her. (Even though I like Yui's version best still)
EDIT 4: It's official. Azusa wins this round for best songs. Mugi comes a close second, and unfortunately - as much as I like Ricchan, she came third, by quite a bit.

I'd agree it doesn't fit Yui, Mugi, or Ritsu, though I thought it fit Azusa pretty well though not as well as Let's Go did.

I didn't see any problem with Satomi's singing. The songs itself are what I have the problem with, not her voice. And I'll get used to that pretty soon....it's just early for voicing my true opinion of a song when I haven't gotten used to it yet.

Remember when Seishun Vibration first came out? Many of you were bashing and degrading it like mad, then as time passed many of you got used to it and even started liking it. Maybe this case is similar? Or not? Oh well.

I remember the seiyuu interview for the K-ON! PSP Game. Apparently, Satou Satomi is the most hardworking. She said that Ritsu's voice uses a lot of energy, so everytime a recording session ended, she was the only one who sweated a lot

About the songs... how to put it... the VAs' voice are kinda different from their usual voices IMO. And as usual, From 2 songs for each characters, I only like one.

- Diary wa Fortessimo -->> It's very unsual for Mugi to sing an upbeat song. But I like it especially the instrumental. The piano play is quite aggressive.

- Joyful Todays -->> Very cute song ^^ The rhythm is relaxing to hear. and lol @ the lyrics XD I spotted "Nihon Ningyo" word there.

- Yuuzora A la Carte -->> While the song is slow and Satou Satomi sounds different, I personally think that this is her best character song

Time for Reviews! (This is first impression and is subject to change over-time)

1. Ritsu's Come With Me!
Damn...it's more terrible than Mio's. I'm disappointed. But...it does make me excited for the mixes...cus each have their good parts..=P

2. Drumming Shining My Life
I like this upbeat song. It obviously beats Yui's two character songs lol.

3. Yuuzora a la Carte
This made me realize that Ritsu's Character song has overthrown Yui's. I'm kinda sad and happy at the same time. lol

4. Tsumugi's Come With Me!
Yui > Mio > Tsumugi > Ritsu. *copy from Ritsu's CWM comment.*

5. Diary wa Fortissismo
I said I like fast songs. I still do. Thank God somebody thought of getting Mugi a fast song. Not as catchy as Ritsu's counterpart song, but it's still better than Yui's counterpart song. (Sorry Yui, I still like you though)

6. Yasei no Jonetsu
This is arranged according to the arrangement of when I heard it. So far, it's the "second worst" I've heard, placing only a bit above Ritsu's CWM. What? It still passed the like-able line though =D

7. Asuza's Come With Me
Now this is one of those catchy Come with Me...some parts are inferior to other's parts though, like Yui's (yes Yui's) and Ritsu's....but overall...I place this...just before Yui!
Therefore...
Yui > Asuza > Mio > Tsumugi > Ritsu
Now to wait for the official Group Mix. =D

8. Joyful Days
One word. AWESOME!!!!
One of those songs I'd like to hear everyday! =D Cheery and upbeat songs...This is...the best character song in K-ON!! I've heard so far. =]

9. Over the Starlight
You've got to be KIDDING ME! Azusa's Character Single has officially pwned everyone else's.
