Hence why I said peace and understanding my foot. Einstein's quote of "Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding." was a rather cheap cop out for the movie. When you have a life force that is hellbent on discovering a new world to populate and then have it go "whoopsie! We spoke to a mediator and there's peeps here! Sorry!" just seems sad, in my opinion.

So why do people fight, anyway?
Perhaps the meaning of existence lies within their will to fight.
People feel a sense of accomplishment through battle.
And it’s also a fact that the ones actually fighting are never perceived as being tainted.

Probably some Sunrise-insider, Votoms: Phantom Arc also ended with a giant flower.
(There was a similar scene in Buddha Saitan, maybe this has some DEEP religious meaning).

There's a new "secret site" like before with the whole movie in GOOD quality that is a stream. No subs since it's just a RAW file, but I watched mainly the action scenes and it looks AWESOME. The sound effects that the ELS make and all the mobile suits and such sounds even better.

Really? I thought the song "Mou Nani mo Kowakunai, Kowaku wa Nai" by Chiaki Ishikawa during the large scale battle near the end was well done.

I'm aware there was a scene at the end, but that damn flower made no sense whatsoever at the end of the movie. "Lol they stopped? Wtf?" Oh look, it's the flower Feldt gave Setsuna only a million times bigger now... Peace and understanding my foot.
Yeahhhh..........that flower is rather weird and doesnt fit IMO. I know it's suppose to represent peace from the ELS and all from what they symbolism they got from Setsuna...............but still it's just super weird and random.

While I personally love the communication theme in this movie quite a lot (much more than I did in S2), I think Einstein quote isn't best used here.

I wish the design for the flowerstation was more.......metallic-like such as a real space station as opposed to being very much like a large organic flower.

I don't know why... I liked the part where Andre sacrificed himself to prevent that ELS from reaching Earth. But this time, watching the HQ stream and discovering that it wasn't just Andre, but an entire group of GN-X's that destroyed themselves, it felt more emotional somehow knowing that it took that many just to take down a single large ELS.

Gotta love 00 Raiser's English-like sword in Celestial Being frankly.

It's not the same as watching it back in September in a crowd of Gundam 00 fans (that..........and subtitles...... -_-) but it's awesome being able to see it again.

The "wings" on the epilogue Quanta is very organic looking. I wonder if it still can be used as bits

I think I gave the "secret" viewing place away quite blatantly if you frequent 4chan /m/ where i dropped the 2 "little gifts" last night.

I have two versions of the "released" movie (not the theatre camrip ones) and one fixed an error of the theatre version while the other one kept it.

The one that kept the error was the DVD. Ironically, it's very likely the fixed version originally came from the Blu-Ray one. Why Sunrise, would keep the error in one and fix it in the other is beyond me when they're both released on the same day. -_-

The scene in question is Raphael's beams, it appeared pink for 2 seconds in the error version but the "fixed" one changed it back to orange as it should be.

For the record, the DVD allows you to put Japanese subtitles and has a Cantonese audio option too. Those who speak Japanese and Cantonese should consider buying it. I already watched the movie at cinemas so the subs arent that important to me. Though I REALLY want them NOW!!!

Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but I DO NOT see the OE during the epilogue. Another thing is the strange line of green GN Particles stemming from the flower station, to Earth.

I honestly think THAT'S what is Innovating people.
