(1) Wait and see how well the first season does before dubbing after story or (2) See if they could first find a dub for Ushio before deciding if they should go ahead and dub After Story.

I just finished watching it dubbed a couple days ago its good. I so can't wait until April to buy the second season although I won't be looking forward to Sentai's abysmal packaging who thought it was a good idea to stack the DVDs on top of one another without dividers?? Cause to get to disk 3 you have to take out the first two disks to even get to it. Sorry for going offtopic there, but that seriously is annoying. Other than that good dub and I can't wait to see who voices Ushio.

i wonder how long until the anime network starts playing the dub. they did it about 2-3 months before the dvd release of the first season. Last edited by cyberdemon; 2011-02-03 at 00:48. |

I'd keep it reasonably low though. It would have been INCREDIBLY hard to find someone to voice Ushio properly, but if they have, then it's splendid. But more likely they couldn't, and had to settle for something lesser.

She was the voice actor for Mitsukuni Haninozuka aka "Honey" from Ouran High School Host Club, also played Truth in Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. So she likes to play the roles of characters who have the appearance of little children. But the fact they were boys gives me a strange thought.

Yeah I'm excited, but I sure hope the english VAs are better than the first season, not that they're bad or anything but the japanese voices sounded better for some parts of it.

I'm really glad that they've kept the same VAs - I've gotten so used to hearing them all the way they are in the original, it wouldn't be the same if they were different in After Story. Looking forward to bawling all over again from some of the most poignant and emotionally draining scenes I've ever seen in an anime. Quite frankly, these scenes prove that animes are more than just children's tV shows. |
