The show is growing one me with each ep, even though the jokes are just for the sake of being funny and nothing more in the end.

Part of what it makes it funny for me is the line delivery of some of the characters in the show.

Hiroyuki Yoshino's Bossun is quite reminiscent of Yoshimori from Kekkaishi, only more animated and louder. He's the perfect guy to voice Bossun in all their zany situations. Himeko's personality is a hoot when paired with Osaka-ben, especially during banters with Bossun. Switch's monotone text-to-speech dialogues are just so out of place in whatever crazy and serious situation that it becomes comical on its own.

I'm fine with waiting. At least until it ends. I'm not very good with online reading, and I'm not sure if I can purchase the volumes around here... so that's that!

Plus, I won't deny that I like the soundtrack far too much and I can't imagine those intense scenes without the great guitar riffs the anime has. Kickass score, fits the show perfectly!

I agree with you on both points. One, that I want it. Two, that it's not possible.

It's a shonen JUMP title, which are known for having no romance sub plot between the main characters. There are a few expectations though, so people shouldn't jump to conclusions.

Started watching, and Keiichiro Kawaguchi's directing is shining through. His distinctive style of eyecatches, fourth wall breaking humor, and fast paced stream of gags are all charging forth at full power. (Of course, credit must be due to the source material where credit is due), but I'm glad he's directing two new shows this year, at least. He's tied with Shinbo for my favorite director.

Glad you liked that. Sometimes you get these happy coincidences...

The original Japanese pun was "nagutta no? gossu tto?" which is basically "punch him? punch him hard?"

"Gosu tto" is an onomatopoeia for a punch to the gut, I think (it's more like a sound effect).

Honestly my rewrite was funnier than the original, heh. Either way, the point is that she doesn't know what "Goth Loli" is.

Hmm, I've noticed that this anime omitted or censored more extreme jokes in the previous episode, but the biggest censorship came this episode 5.

Spoiler:

^ If that actually happened in the anime, I wouldn't settle for just a mere punch or "extreme" scolding. Then those guys need to get shot or atleast taken to prison.

Too heavy for a comedy show starring teens.

If something like that happened and it got out, the police would've been involved. I think the anime's version sort of makes more sense.

guys, will this have a 12-season series or an ongoing one like Gintama, hayate or one Piece?

I think this anime deserves to have a gintama or hayate number of episodes. I mean, i'd watch 52 to 200 episodes of this! (especially while Shiraishi, Seki & Sugita in the same anime!)

I'd like 180 episodes so that they adapt all the manga

I watched episode 4, and god .. bossun/himeko is really the perfect couple they are so perfect when they are together...

But Roman sure will be a rival.. bossun you can't go out with her
