Monster Hunter Portable 3rd
Ah, good. Nobody has started a thread concerning this awesome new PSP Game, released late November in 2010.
As usual, DON'T post this game to download on this thread: None of us wants to be banned for life. But otherwise, battle videos and victory photos are all good. Let the hunt begin!!

Tigrex, old boy, the accounts of your prowess in battle has been greatly exaggerated.
Your dark and furry cousin the Nargacougar was stronger, faster, smarter and more unpredictable. I had to die THREE Times before I even learn how to scratch, much less kill him. Once your powerful but absolutely predictable moves are read, you can be played like a violin. Point in fact killed you on my first try without losing a life. And somehow, Tigrex old buddy, you still worth more money and experience than the old jungle cat. Funny that.

Just by doing every single quest you can get about everything you need, no need to repeat quests. I have enough materials to make every single long sword possible without grinding until HR 5, yea I'm a long sword collector lol But then it depends on what armour you're using I guess, I've been using the Jaggi armour for both low rank and high rank, will be switching to end game armours after this. Its extremely easy to make since its Jaggi materials and gives decent attack up, and recovery, expert for high rank version.

Today marks my 22th Jinouga, and there is still no Plate, goddamnit. I still use Jaggi armor, but I want Jinouga one because it looks kinda cool =(.
Naruga is not what it was with the introduction of stamina. He feels a bit easier than previous game.

1. Break horn twice. 2. Pick up all the shiny when you get it off super conductive mode 3. Kill and carve, instead of capture. Surprisingly (?) it's higher chance to carve then get it as capture reward.

What advantage is there to capturing the beasts alive as opposed to yet another delightful bloodbath?
And the tranquilizers are the red balls, right? How many do you have to throw when they are trapped, and which trap to use?

They're the red balls, yes. Usually trap and throw tranqs when a monster goes to sleep or limps around. Two usually do the trick, though I've had instances where 3 did the trick.

I was just about to make a PSP REMASTER thread but I guess this will do.
Dat MHP3, Dat VC2&3, Dat FFType Zero! I guess doing this also makes the games look better for the NGP. Also got a chuckle that a 3D MH is in the works and it's not for the 3DS. And finally I guess this validates the rumors for the God of War PSP games being released on the PS3. |

After playing 2nd G, something about this game died inside me. Rushing through half way into the game without armor, there is a lack of motivation to keep playing or to grind out new armor. Basically I stopped at around HR5.
