As it says on the anbudom site http://www.anbudom.net/news/comments.php?id=81 :
"The joint between ANBU and AonE has been resumed. Here is the end product. In other news, crustol, our fearsome translator who is only capable of demoralizing other translators, has retired from fansubbing after 4 years of service, and over 500 episodes translated. Please wish crustol the best in whatever he decides to pursue in the future." Shame really about crustol, he was a very good translator. |

Yea, I deffinetly hope that Aone releases episodes 106 and 107. I really prefer their text style over that of ANBU.
I've only taken a brief look at 108, but it seems that they are using the ANBU style karaoke, and the Aone style text for the rest of the episode. I must say this makes me very happy. I'm not too concerned about the karaoke text, as I hardly ever read it. Likewise, I'm not sure how much I like the whole flaming text thing Aone had going on. As long as they do 106 and 107 though, I'll be happy. I'll once again have my complete matching set ![]() |

Well out of a styling perspective we used ANBU's opening AonE's main dialogue styling.
We rewamped the Episode title design and the next episode title design. I took the liberty to take our ending karaoke and changd the romanji font to the one anbu used before. Hope you guys like the changes and think they are for the better. Take Care Sakaki- |

maybe they reteamed because 1.Crustol is leaving and 2. since theyre behind on subbing they can catch up by joining forces with anbu to get back on track. so both side had a negative and turned it into a positibe just hope the subbing doesnt suffer

Sakaki: Will you be using AonE's translator? (sorry, I don't know his/her name). After the split, I preferred your dialog. Crustol was definitely good, but maybe he was too good. By that I mean his translations were too exact sometimes and thus awkward. For example: (it was a long time ago, so I could be wrong), ANBU/Crustol used "Negotiations are broken down!" when the rest used something like "Negotiations are off!" which is clearly the better choice.
Anyway, glad to see both groups together again. |

Very cool! Glad to hear it Sakaki. Both intro versions were pretty good, so it doesn't bug me that you are using the ANBU one rather than your own. And ovbiously I'm glad you've kept your episode text and ending text the same, because I personally feal they were both way superior to the ANBU ones.
The title and next episode title are a bit funky, kinda like they way ANBU was doing them. Honnestly, I think I prefer the more plain version you guys had in episode 104, but hey whichever way you do it is cool with me! |

Glaring Translation Alert!
I always liked the ANBU and Animeone pairing but I just noticed a pretty big translation difference in thier episode 108. In Dattebayo's 108 when Tayuya and the rest of the Sound 4 are debating how they should go about taking down Sasuke, Sakon states that two should be more than enough for him. Tayuya snaps back telling him to stop making comments and calls him a fag . Anbu's translations is very different. She calls him a piece of shit. Piece of Shit?! Thats quite a difference in my opinion. Now I don't know who's right but the manga has her call him a fairy. Piece of shit is a far cry from fag or fairy. I don't hold anything against gay people this just doesn't seem like a bold thing to do if the fag comment was more accurate. I hope this isn't a prelude to their work in the future because I'm sure we all want the best of the best in translation don't we?
