I agree Rin is definitely not an airhead. I don't think I've seen her have any airhead moments and if there were it's just an act. She's the one whose been plotting this the entire time and making Haruto dance to her tune. Well not that it takes much for that to happen...

I would also like to add that Seo used the phone interfering trope excellently. We were all focused on the phone ringing at that exact moment that we weren't thinking why Asuka would want to know Haruto's location so specifically when she was so far away. Unless I'm just reading into it too much, lol.

I don't know about that - as soon as her attitude changed after asking where he was, I felt it was obvious what was going on. Didn't matter too much though, since the reveal was within the same chapter.

Reasons why I would have found it interesting and very different, those 2 girls fall into a role that you just wouldn't really see get together with the MC but Asuka was made for the role she plays, reason why I said she works well in it.

I never read the spoilers for this chapter but I had the hunch she was waiting on Haruto, I'm always mindful of Seo using coincidence in this series. I know this isn't coincidence but you knew it had a high chance of happening.
Anything that can work against Haruto will most likely happen.
I'm sure we'll see another awkward moment of him with a girl and the rest being witness to it a the most coincidental moment

Seo probably went with Asuka because she was the only option. He probably thought Kiyomi wouldn't work because they weren't interested in the first place, and anyone from Hiroshima wouldn't work because Haruto was in Tokyo and needed a quick pickmeup. The only favorable person left in Tokyo would be Asuka, even though they had zero romantic development.

Of course, I disagree with his logic because it's very possible for Haruto to stay in contact with someone like Nanami. If Seo had thought of it, he could have made Haruto go back to Hiroshima and start another relationship there.

^ I think Akari knows Haruto just as well but doesn't care what he does. All in all though, Rin's constant bothering and teasing Haruto is the only thing keeping him from being a complete douche. Therefore, I hope Haruto continues being a retard so we can continue to see more of the latter
