GTA: San Andreas
Well its out now! And I must say it badass! Its like a combination of GTA plus the sims this time around. Also the areas are MUCH bigger then the last two games, I mean this game is gynormous! I also love the little stealth kill attack they put in there .
Anyways who else picked it up? |

I don't use my PS2 much anymore. Besides, I'm in PAL territory, and the rest of the family occupies the TV most of the day. I'll probably buy it if/when it comes out for the PC.

3 days for PS2...but probably 6 months for X Box, Vice City and GTA III was Bad enough but it was worth the wait even for them, i just can't stand the graphics on PS2, its silly how it comes out on that first...THEN X Box and PC, it's eally annoyinh how they can't bring it out on all 3.

Best single player game for ps2
I gotta say that san andreas is amazing. It definitely surpasses its predessesors and gives alot more features and interactive gameplay. A must for playstation2 owners.(Just in case you are wondering, yes i do have GTA san andreas)

I was very skeptical on this game... even on a previous thread that someone made here about San Andreas... I wrote it off as another GTA 3 expansion with nothing new to offer.... but after buying and playing this game... I have become a San Andreas addict... I've been playing it constantly since I got it a couple days ago... granted... it's still roughly the same GTA 3 engine.... but it's so damn fun... travelling on the countryside to each city makes the world in this game feel pretty big... it's definitely bigger than Vice City or GTA 3... the music in the game is definitely appropriate music... and it brings back memories listenin to those old tracks on Playback FM, Radio Los Santos and Radio X... but... the chat radio station has always been my favorite one to listen to...
I enjoy this game so much more than Vice City or GTA 3 cuz I get to live out the stories that NWA rapped about back in the day... :P ... the shovel, saw-offed shotties and the bicycles are definitely good additions... if you have a PS2... grab this game...

One of the most fun things about the game is that if it has ever been used as a means of human transportation -- its probably in this game. Theres BMX bikes, motorcycles, forklifts, go-carts, jetpacks, boats, seaplane, helicopter, leer jet, regular planes, RC planes lol, parachute, etc .... just tons.

I just started playing Need for Speed Underground 2 and I noticed that you play in a free-roam world where you can go to different shops for performance and the likes, just like in GTA, and to places all across the map with races.
