What. So they're blaming the FANS? That's just brilliant and classy PR, Crapcom. Why not go the extra step and send a package full of fecal matter to the MML fans?

It's Ninja Theory's bad influence on Capcom with Tameen's "I don't Care".
Now seems the WHOLE of Capcom doesn't care.

So meh...

Holy crap. Do they actually vet people anymore? Couple of weeks one of the namcobandai employees made a false remark of why ToV ps3 won't be released outside japan. And now we have someone from Capcom Europe, posting this shit. And how the hell is Capcom Europe involved in MML3? IIRC Capcom Europe are only doing publishing/selling and PR for games in the region, nothing more.
These youngsters are really doing more damage than good for the companies.

Obviously Capcom Europe have fuck all to do with this yet people will hold that remark of a PR manager against Capcom.

more like...people need to learn to keep their mouths shut. part of the inflammation came from capcom europe poorly wording a half-assed response.

Yeah it seems twitter character limits (140 characters last I checked) caused them to word it poorly. They would've been better just linking to a more in-depth blog post. Regardless, this is a PR disaster for them and they're doing damage control now. Capcom Euro has, at least, put out an apology for the rude statement.

Don't know why people think Capcom Europe have any say in the matter anyway. It's a Capcom Japan thing.

I hear a Megaman got cancelled on the PS3 and co. too?
Geez...

But maybe this is a chance to revive Battle Network!
Star Force? What is that?

Capcom is making bad decisions as of late. The only thing keeping them alive is their fighting games. Their new IP's still needs to be proven.

Are you serious?
They cancelled Megaman Universe, AGH!
Star force is similar to battle network.

Why do I feel like all this can be attributed to Capcom being butthurt over Inafune leaving.....

Capcom Europe has always been staffed by people who aren't the brightest, in my opinion. This only reinforces that view.

Capcom didn't care about Inafune's departure. As he mentioned, the company made no attempt to dissuade him from leaving (he also offered to finish the games he had started, but they immediately turned him down), so management had been unhappy with him for a while.

OTOH, once Inafune left, they had no reason to back projects (which they may have reluctantly greenlit) that he had been fighting for.
