I just heard about the Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, seriously? Wow.

So they put in Rocket Raccoon in instead of gene or megaman? ....... they are lUCKY they put vergil in... But their mising the main part of my Slick hair trench coat team!

Marvel has a lot of say in their side of the roster. They obviously want to promote some of their lesser known brands and characters that will have prominent roles in their other media. Hawkeye is in Thor and will be in the Avengers movie next year. He also has a prominent role in Marvel's "Earth's Mightiest Heroes" cartoon.

Nova and Rocket bring more representation to Marvel's cosmic universe. Not to mention they're apparently going to appear in Earth's Mightiest Heroes . I've no doubt Rocket will be a mini version of Cable going off the scans of him I've seen

....I wanted Megaman to appear, i pray to god, at least he'll be downloadable. If not, I'll never forgive capcom.

Why even bring this up when they're different sides? Capcom can't choose what Marvel characters they put in.. heck the only 2 they probably pushed for 100% is Sentinel and Shuma Gorath. They wanted a young female marvel character (can't remember who) and Marvel said no, use X-23 instead. She had a comic launched the same month the game came out.. very successful too.. and also Capcom wanted a strong female character (again I can't remember who) and Marvel said, "Denied, use She Hulk".

Also Rocket Raccoon is suppose to be one bad motherfucker and could play like Cable so that hate, hold dat.

And personally I'm not too thrilled with the new cast outside of Strider and Vergil but you never know what characters will click with you once you play the game.

I personally think that Rocket Raccoon has the chances of being one bomb of a character and not a wasted slot as many people is saying, I have good hopes for this little fella'.

I can say that with the aditions of Frank West, Nemesis, Ghost Rider and Dr. Strange I'm sold.

In my opinio the only wasted slot among the new 12 is Firebrand... seriously, he was known among what? A 15% of the Capcom community? And faved by 5%? That spot could have been the place of Gene, Megaman, M.Bison, Batsu, Juri, Leo, Nero, tsk... anyone.

Yeah.. I'm not hyped about him at all.. but I honestly expect to have a blast with him. I think people are looking @ him like he's a joke character...

Lots of people are saying he's quite fun to play with though. And I'll rather play a character I don't know and is fun to play with, than someone who's boring and known.

Like someone said I am looking forward to play with Strider and Vergil, even though I am still a little bit disappointed that some of my favorite characters are not there.

I also do hope that Ultimate brings Jill and Shuma already because I don't feel like paying extra for them.

They should have done what Ono did to SFIV. Do not delete your save file because the alternate costumes are there. If you bought MVC and bought Jill and Shuma you automatically get them in UMVC3 as long as you have the old save file.

That's the best way to go. They just deciding on how to make more money out of people now adays.
