Nice little update, Nanya. I'm really liking this Scrya arc. And Huckebein? They're as disgusting as always, I see?

I wish I could say that I was plotting an epic Nanoha masterpiece, but the truth is that I've been ninja'd by Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. AWESOME game!

Well since I'm taking a break from TTG I took the second best alternative (Due to certain reasons, I'm going to complete my project three months earlier from deadline... successfully. Wow)... Write something else.

Stuck between itching hands and writer's block is pure torture >.>.

So out of curiosity, what's holding everyone (except for Nanya) up in fic-writing right now? Is it distraction, or summer vacation, or work, or something else?

In my case, I've been distracted by family outings, and trying to work on 4 fanfics at the same time ...

For me, I've been writing in fandoms other than MGLN (cranking out Kannazuki no Miko shorts when the yuri bug bites me and working on a Phantasy Star Online novella when the OFF works).

Just general laziness and procrastination, I suppose. I got a lot of games to play and anime to watch too so sometimes it's hard to decide just what to work on. I'm constantly sleep deprived to boot.

Still, setting deadlines is helping (even if I go a day or two over it, it's still sooner than several months) and seeing all the reader participation with the voting does wonders for boosting my spirits too.

On my part, a little bit of laziness, some distraction at the hands of computer games, but ultimately it's because I start an incredibly difficult class this Tuesday that'll take up most of my time on Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus whatever homework I get between those days.

I am, however, still brainstorming, bit by bit. Not much for it to be useful, but hell, better than nothing.

Interesting to hear from people as to why they've been quiet! And I'm about to ironically kind of go against my own post regarding a lack of updates from me . I come with fic?

I haven't found a suitable title yet , also owing to the late hour and my desire to get this out quickly...so if people have any suggestions, please feel free to offer them! ^^

EDIT: New title now--"Empty House!"

Spoiler for Empty House:

Spoiler for Author's Note:

EDIT: Title now found!

Spoiler for Untitled for now...:

Spoiler for Author's Note:
GAH. The way Hayate spoke to herself aloud was just a smidgen soul-crushing. Also, the pace at which you let on about the progress of her condition was quite a good mirror of the slow and gradual paralysis. A mention here, hint there, then by the end it was just constant. In truth, alarm bells were set off from the start when you stated she was a teenager, but I kept hoping... until Fate and Nanoha's appearance nailed the coffin firmly shut.

I am depressed now. You'll have to cheer me up by linking to the Hayate fanart you mentioned.

Okay, I'm saving this.

It fits perfectly with the image I had about Hayate's life before A. Happier maybe, more hopeful maybe, that's how all kids are.

Let the years stretch a bit, let's say the miracle... did not happen.

Even in my story I had Hayate already accepting her eventual death (Maybe even hopeful), using her life just to make people happy by being... a good girl.

Oddly enough I did not notice the discrepancy of time until someone mentioned that she was a teenager. I could see this happening even when she's just nine, all it takes was a slight nudge at the wrong direction...
