Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

Uncharted looks very interesting when I watched the previews from E3 o.o. Must get whenever I get the money for it!

Looks like Naughty Dog got some inspiration from Timegate. From this GameInformer article:

General scoring was done in a familiar manner, with teams scoring a point for each kill. However, “power plays” came into effect at certain times throughout the match. One lasted for sixty seconds, and tasked my team with killing an enemy VIP for bonus points. Once the timer ran out (and my team was unsuccessful in our attempt), it was back to business as usual.

Dynamic Combat missions made the Section 8 titles' adversarial gameplay stand out; it's good to see someone else trying their hand at it.

I didn't know much about this series a month ago. It is way better than I thought it would be. I have this online friend, and we talk a bunch about video games. He recommended this series to me, and so after seeing the demo of UC 3 at the Sony conference at E3 2011, and liking what I saw, I decided to buy the first two games. I bought both and played Uncharted:Drake's Fortune, and it pretty much blew me away. I beat that game and played UC 2 (beat it last night), and enjoyed that game a lot, too. It is the better game of the two, but UC 1 is great, too.

To anyone who is interested in checking out this series, don't start with UC 3 or UC 2. If you are thinking about checking out this series, I strongly recommend you do, and I strongly recommend you start with UC 1.

^ Agreed. I remembered almost dismissing this series because of the Uncharted 1 demo but when i played the actual game there was a huge difference and it was much more enjoyable.

I can't believe how excited I am for the multiplayer too. I remember how I rolled my eyes when it was first announced for UC2, think it was totally unnecessary, but I turned out putting way more hours into that than the singleplayer campaign. It was surprisingly competent for their first attempt and the co-op modes were especially addictive for me. Can't wait to see how UC3 expands on it.

lol I was the same. That demo didn't do the series justice AT ALL.

I bought the first one on a whim because it was cheap and thought "Meh, whatever, might as well check it out."

Now I totally love the series. They're just great and fun games, nuff said.
The graphics and "oh shit" factor are just the cherry on the top

For me, it was simply a game I wanted to try out(I never played the demo) cause it did interest me but I never got round to getting a copy till UN2 came out.
Got both games, played em and was hooked.

Brilliant series thats deserves it's praise and then some.

Also I think it helps that Drake is a ruggedly handsome bloke

Really can't wait for 3rd outting, I suspect it will be a toss up between this and Mass Effect 3 for GOTY.

While I don't have the hots for Nathan Drake like you two, I love this character. He is so awesome and funny. Playing these games make me feel like I'm on adventures with Nathan Drake.
