I know you meant well, but that's a novel spoiler and it's not even in spoiler tags. I think as a courtesy any explanation of unexplained events in the anime that's based on knowing the novels doesn't belong on this thread.

But CMGOR didn't spoil anything?

In any case, I don't know, I don't think there won't be an explanation for what drives No.6. We've already had a mention of the people who created the city, and I don't think Karan's involvement was just a throwaway mention... So I think there will be some sort of explanation about the people behind the city and why the city functions the way it does. I'm pretty sure it's not because the leaders are MWAHAHAHA EVIL.

They have to explain the wasps, anyway.
Spoiler for the wasps:

(They might even try to cover all the background info needed for the plot. It would be a hell of an infodump, but it's not like Bones has never done that before...)

Sion & Rat in no. 6 hellhole. The mountain of bodies was just horrible.
Dog keeper got the kid Sion saved, now that's gonna be interesting in the future.
The infiltration was successful, but stealth was just not their thing.
Sion turned out to be a pretty ruthless killer, what a surprise ( ゚ Д゚)
Well, at least they managed to get to Safu.

Something in the anime wasn't clear, and people were debating whether there was something deeper behind it. The post explained that there was, using the novel as the source of the information. That's a novel spoiler.

Comment on BONES trolling. Keep in mind that I'm going off of what I've been told, and may have gotten trolled myself (in which case it's my own fault for not being more skeptical).

Spoiler for Spoilerific Discussion of Trolling:

Stuff like the relative amount of ho-yay (or whatever you want to call it) doesn't count as trolling for me because it's a lot less specific way of messing with audience expectations.

So is anybody buying any No. 6 merchandise? I bought Nezumi tote bag and a mini towel. <3

Also, taken from LJ:

An official mook/fanbook will be released by Otona Animedia. The book will open with a long interview of Asano Atsuko, will also include interviews of the staff and cast, a story guide for the anime, a compilation of anime illustrations, and a complete compilation of toi8's illustrations. A complete compilation of toi8's illustrations. Yes that needs to be said twice, because this is the "artbook" that we've all been waiting for. Though I guess it's not totally "complete" since they can't include (all) the BD covers, but oh well. Release date 10/11. Source: Amazon / Animate

I am so buying that too. xD I mean, a complete compilation of toi8's illustration. MUST. HAVE. Just waiting for CDJapan or Amiami to get it. :3

The guy that did all the endcards at the end of each ep. You know, those glorious "HNNNGG" inducing ones. <3

Does anyone have a collection of those end cards online? CR only showed the one for episode 10 so I feel like I'm missing out on something.

is that Sion's true self? Rat seems to already knew it but maybe he hope that is not true

i am thinking does Safu really need others to rescue her? she has that final boss look in her face...

The scene towards the end with Nezumi not wanting Shion to lose his innocence was really well done IMO. There's really no turning back at this point so might as well anticipate the next episode.

This show has been at it's best I've found when focusing primarily on the Nezumi/Shion relationship and character contrast, but it's kind of marred by a weak supporting cast other than Safu. Just not nearly fleshed out enough and sadly it's probably going to impact my final views on this show. I just hope we finish strong by continuing to focus on the Nezumi/Shion/Safu dynamic and keep the presence of Dogloan and Rikigia, arguably the two weakest things about this show, as much out of the picture as possible.

What's gonna happen in the next week's finale after Shion & Nezumi gonna save Safu from it's hellhole?

How will Shion gonna get back home to see his mother?

So No.6 is nine volumes right? Is the anime a bad adaptation, or is it only adapting a certain number of volumes? I assume 11 episodes isn't enough to fully adapt 9 volumes.
