I find it funny how the 'doppelganger' always hate their counterpart in anime. XD Look at her, she looks a lot like Yozora.

Yozora is mean, but she's not evil. Wait, why am I defending Yozora when I'm shipping for meat. Besides, there's Kodaka, and other than eroge, she's having 'fun' activities in the Neighbors Club which qualifies her life as decently fulfilling. She's nowhere near the extreme otaku hikikomoris who only go to Akiba.

I'm not saying Yozora's evil, just that she always bullies Sena to tears lol. Well, she's not a hikkikomori for sure, but she's hardcore enough to be considered an otaku, which means she's not on riajuu level yet, especially with her dangerous panting toward Kobato :P

having Otaku interests doesn't classify a person to be not qualified for Riajuu status. They are not necessary mutually exclusive. Only when one is Otaku or Hikikomori to the point where he pretty much does not have a normal social life, as he is unable to get satisfaction and fulfillment from normal real life activities that normal people do.

I don't know about that. Well, the definition of riajyuu is quite ambigious in the first place, but from what I understand from reading about it, seeking something from 2d world, e.g an otaku, means that you're not fulfilled in real world, hence being a 2d otaku automatically disqualify you as a riajyuu. I might be wrong though

I personally think you don't have to be an otaku or hikkikomori to be a 'non-riajuu'. Kodaka, Yozora, and Yukimura aren't otaku or hikkikomori but they aren't riajuu too.

I think on non-Japanese term, anti-social and exiled person is more or less the same as 'non-riajuu'. Yozora is an anti-social while Kodaka (and possibly Yukimura) possibly capable engaging normal social life if not for the people impression and exiling him.

not so much as ambiguous perhaps but rather multiple interpretations. though I take the word as where it comes from (ie. Real life + Fulfilling), so I'm following this:
実際の現実の生活（リアル生活）が充実している人間のこと:
- 恋人や友人付き合いに恵まれる
- サークル活動や飲み会へ参加する
- オタク以外の趣味を楽しむ

for example, Kirino is a Riajuu with Otaku interests using this take. while Yozora and gang (minus Kobato, Rika and Sena) are non-Otaku non-Riajuus, while Sena, Rika and Kobato are Otaku non-Riajuus. this may contradict what I said about Sena, but what I really mean is while Yozora and gang sees themselves as non-Riajuu, while they can't interact with the people outside of their circle, I'd say they are pretty much having a fulfilling real life with the other members of the Neighbors Club.
