Nice use of visual gags this episode, even though they played the "being loud" card a little too much.
What the heck is the next episode? Drop? Hopefully, it's the chapter that came after this one in the manga. Although I heard from someone else that it'll probably be about Captain.

I wasn't too fond of the animation style used in this episode to emphasize Himeko's embarrassment and frustration. It was getting on my nerves after awhile, but aside from that I loved the episode. Like the above posters already claimed, Himeko is just so darn cute when she's awkward and embarrassed in these types of situations.
My favourite part of the episode was when she tried to ask Bossun to go to the movies with her and the words weren't coming out right and he thought she was uttering a curse :P Bossun was adorable when he got excited about helping her shop for clothes. I know that in his case it's more his love of helping others than of fashion, but I've never seen a guy that enthusiastic when shopping with his girlfriend. In anime or real life

I honestly forgot about this chapter when I read it. Heartwarming, but not that great and kind of forgettable episode. It's a shame too, considering I really like Captain.
Finally, J-son comes back next week.

I was entirely unaware of this controversy. They kind of seem to have blown the whole thing out of proportion. Wouldn't a simple "Kids, this is dangerous. Do not try this at home" warning have been enough?

But this was a case of it being something "realistic" that was portrayed as fun and that kids really could easily imitate. The reason they didn't just put a label on it is that it was an embarrassing mistake. That scene shouldn't have made it past the editor... So I think they just erase it and try not to think about it.
