So happy we're getting the date next week. Seriously didn't think we'd be seeing that chapter this early.

Another great ep. Momoka really is multi-talented. Liked the Bakuman reference from Roman.

LOL! Indeed, long shoulder pads that fill up the entire panels are the best thing a manga can have.

Himeko cuteness overload. She was so damn adorable in this episode. Can you imagine what it'll be like when she finally goes on a real date?

Nice use of visual gags this episode, even though they played the "being loud" card a little too much.

What the heck is the next episode? Drop? Hopefully, it's the chapter that came after this one in the manga. Although I heard from someone else that it'll probably be about Captain.

I wasn't too fond of the animation style used in this episode to emphasize Himeko's embarrassment and frustration. It was getting on my nerves after awhile, but aside from that I loved the episode. Like the above posters already claimed, Himeko is just so darn cute when she's awkward and embarrassed in these types of situations.

My favourite part of the episode was when she tried to ask Bossun to go to the movies with her and the words weren't coming out right and he thought she was uttering a curse :P Bossun was adorable when he got excited about helping her shop for clothes. I know that in his case it's more his love of helping others than of fashion, but I've never seen a guy that enthusiastic when shopping with his girlfriend. In anime or real life

Meh, can't watch it now that I'm on a work trip. But from the comments, seems like I'm gonna enjoy it more than the manga.

Himeko and her boy-stalker story were pretty funny.
Watching her all awkward and cute was a nice change and funny too.
Poor Himeko... she sure tried really hard with Bossun ROFL
Really fun episode!

Was an ok episode, but nothing special. A little too long for my liking with what they added and what they cut out. I was looking forward to see them playing with the helium...

You do realize that scene playing with helium caused a big controversy and has been removed in the reprints of the manga, right?

I'm surprised they even kept the shots of the helium tank at all.

I honestly forgot about this chapter when I read it. Heartwarming, but not that great and kind of forgettable episode. It's a shame too, considering I really like Captain.

Finally, J-son comes back next week.

At least they were able to make up. Like how they both got white candy drops at the end. Also the balloons were a nice touch.

Doesn't change the fact that it would have been hilarious animated. It's a shame some people are dumber than crayons and probably tried that...

I was entirely unaware of this controversy. They kind of seem to have blown the whole thing out of proportion. Wouldn't a simple "Kids, this is dangerous. Do not try this at home" warning have been enough?

It's funny, see... Sket Dance is in shounen jump the same magazine that has super-powered characters doing incredibly dangerous things all the time...

But this was a case of it being something "realistic" that was portrayed as fun and that kids really could easily imitate.

The reason they didn't just put a label on it is that it was an embarrassing mistake. That scene shouldn't have made it past the editor... So I think they just erase it and try not to think about it.
