I doubt Reika will be Kurono's next whoa-man. She seems very respectful of their relationship, especially since Tae's just died. If they get together soon, it'll probably be because Kei is rebounding from grief, and Reika just happens to be there.

Well, you have to consider how Tae and Kurono got together in the first place as well... It was because of a game. As it is, I predict the next chapter will be the start of another Gantz battle. -_-

Sniff, we really lost a ton of posts here...

Anyway, seems like both Kurono and Tae lost their memories of eachother. I generally don't like plot events that make people lose their memory, and this manga is no different. I fear that I won't really be able to enjoy this manga until he somehow reaquires his memories.

Well after the hilarity of 221 this one was ok. First we have the who will be the next leader event. Nishi wants Izumi and the old man wants Reika with sakurai and some others agreeing to that. Then we have the big ol' family reunion of Katou and his brother who I imagined was dead after all this time but apparently not. Well without Kuruno it should be interesting where the story will go from here so I won't lose hope just yet.

after reading chp 222, im seriously wondering if the author will ever put kurono back into the story. technically speaking, he probably would but gantz is known to be unexpected so maybe not. but without kurono it'd be strange.. i read a while ago that the author is having a hard time to keep the manga up and wants to end it in the near future too. but it looks like we just got into a new beginning too

Hey folks, only just this minute finished catching up on the manga (started a week ago) and recently finished watching the anime.

Looking forward to speculating with you all, I was enjoying reading this thread and then forgot about how most of 2005's content wasn't retrievable due to the forums going down. Thanks for the heads up on chapter 222 getting released, missed that one as part of my daily downloads.

Not much happened just Kuruno being the loser he was before being a gantzer. Also loved the Hen cameo on the magazine he was reading. Anyway everyone is talking about the events in ikebukuro. The bit about him and reika was funny but the funniest part was at home when he finds all the tae and him stuff and he starts calling her a stalker then starts crying and doesn't understand why. Looks like he's not completely out of the picture yet also no gantz till the 1/26th

It's suprising the he thinks Tae is disgusing after losing memory. When he sees Tae's pictures on his room, he thinks she's a stalker!

On the other hand, it's fun to see Reika trying to collect people's contact information. It's like she's organizing an upcoming event.

or maybe we'll see only Kuruno for a while only, and then he finally dies again or gets his memory back and get back to Gantz, and we'll see many diffrent ppl in Gantz and only like 2 or 3 old one left as few died and few got out or something

But he won't get his memory back even if he returns to Gantz' room. At least Izumi didn't get his back, apart from perhaps knowing instinctively about the 2nd room etc. He didn't recognize Nishi at all.
