Ninja Turtles in Time, It was the first time my brother and I played games together for hours. It was our first cooperative game~ I still look back to those times fonding, especially when he would enter my room and say "Want to play Ninja Turtles?" I would hop up from what I was doing and immediately go play. He was usually Leonardo and I was usually Donatello~

Halo 3.

No, I'm not just "another fan" that says he likes Halo.

I worshiped Halo 3. In fact, Halo Reach can't even succeed it's greatness.

The entertaining and inclusive campaign to the INCREDIBLE forge mode, infection modes antics, all the nuts and bolts.

It was just a 10/10 game and I won't ever forget it.

Hard to say...it's hard to pin point one I love the most but the ones that I always go back to and replay after a while are...

Pokemon series. (anyone of them are fantastic but I guess the best one would be Silver/Gold because you can go back to the previous region)
Metal Gear Solid series (all the way from 1 to Peacewalker except Portable Ops)
Crash Bandicoot 2 and 3.

I always end up going back to them.

Oh man now that brings me back, I only ever played that like once or twice at a friends, instead later on I got The Hyperstone Heist on the Sega Mega Drive. Pretty similar from what I remember, alot of time spent playing co-op with a mate.
There are other co-op games that one could spend ages on back then but 2 I recall having wasted crap loads of time playing were World of Illusion and Toejam & Earl.

World of Illusion had brilliant co-op mechanics for it's time.

Only other series I can say was a real favorite back then was the Strike series,Desert and Jungle Strike were immense fun.

Freespace 2 was really a fun game.

However (aside from company issues) there is a question that Freespace 3 will never be made because there isn't a good way to make a modern space flight sim anymore. This is attributed to the "death" of the joystick in favor of keyboard and mouse controls for games, or the use of things like 360 pads which from my experiance are not suited to flight sims.

So this might be a reason there haven't been any real space flight sims for years now. Gone are the days of Wing Commander, X-wing, and Freespace. Things like Rogue Squadron don't cut it since you are limited in how you can fly. And while there have been some space flight games since the joystick stopped being used regularly...they just don't feel right using a mouse and keyboard to fly. I recall Earth & Beyond as one of the early space flight MMOs that used what I considered a weird control system. You have free range, but the controls felt wrong. (I liked that game, just at the time I didn't have time to play and when I finally had time, they cancelled it). Star Trek Online's space flight doesn't feel all that bad, but its capital ship movement. Space flight sims are fighters usually.

Any thoughts on this?

I think its a close draw between ff7 & Ico for me. I just love how emotionally involved you get in both games even though they are two completely different genres.

My top 5 games of all time would have to be...

!. Ico (by a hair)
2. FF7
3. Dark Souls
4. WOW (for the sheer amount of time I have played it alone it should get a mention)
5. Pokemon
