Exactly. He chose Dark Knight obviously because it was sold out, and thus had the most targets. That much should be obvious by the choice of gun he used.

I think it deserves to be posted here too... Because not everyone goes to all the threads to read every little post.

In the end, TDK trilogy would be remembered for its tragedies. First, it was the death of a brilliant actor who played a psychopath to critical acclaim. Then, it all ended with a real life psychopath who showed that the movie portrayal of the human evil is all too real.

Villains exist. They are not as common as politicians claim, but they are out there. And they are not going to resemble what you believe "bad people" would look like.

And that's the key. You cannot filter people by their appearance, their dress, or their religion. You cannot filter people period. Forget profiling, it only works for statistics. When it comes down to individual human beings who want to hurt others, you won't be able to tell them apart from innocents until it is too late.

Honestly, I doubt this will be remembered by 98% of Americans by the end of the month.

Actually, I think it was the Tumbler that is real and the Pod that is not real.

The pod is real, mostly. The only difference is that the real thing only has one engine inside the front wheel, while the movie version is suppose to have a 2nd engine in the back wheel that's synchronised. The synchronisation is too hard in reality, but the assumption is that Wayne can get it done.

Please move the shooting related discussion to the News Stories Aurora, Colorado Movie Theater Shooting (July 20, 2012) thread so that this thread won't go off topic.

Thank you.

The second part of the movie was great, the first part was just zzz. It's nowhere near as good as TDK.

I thought it was excellent, actually. Some holes that I rolled my eyes at, but for a non-comic-fan, it was great.

Well...

Anne Hathaway fills out the Catwoman suit just nicely.

Haven't seen the movie yet, but i'm not surprised at this, after the Dark Knight and Inception, if The Dark Knight Rises isn't anything short of a grade A spectacular masterpiece, many will be disappointed even if it is a great movie. If i were Nolan, i would be feeling the pressure and be starting to think about making a mediocre movie on purpose to ease some of it off

I gotta say though, Bane is a total beast in the movie. He's just so imposing whenever he is on screen.

Just wondering (Before I see the film)

I loved Heath Ledger's performance, which sent shivers down my spine every time, however...

I REALLY couldn't buy the fact that a hobo-sicko with a clown fetish was a more powerful threat to Batman than the Shadow Warriors, who were a multicultural thousands-of-years of tradition with uncountable wealth, connections and manpower across the globe.

Is Bane a credible threat with credible resources, charisma and manpower, equal to the Shadown Warriors, or is he just another thug who got lucky?

This movie, fantastic. 10/10

I wish I was the Batpod that Selina was driving. She can sit on my face anyday.
