As i said before, i can see an actually album coming out soon - but i don't think they'd have the image songs that are on the bonus CD's.

I think it'd be highly strange of them to not release the anime OST independently at some stage. It seems that by including parts of the OST in the Limited Edition DVDs, they're giving fans incentive to spend their money. I imagine the people that DO buy these DVDs will be rewarded with some extra tracks, but I think it'd be a pretty strange business move not to release a standalone OST (minus some of the songs, ie, image songs) at some stage in the future. Either way, they probably wouldn't announce one until all the limited DVDs have been sold out, since people would stop buying them if they knew they'd be able to get the OST as a standalone for much less money. Who knows, could be a business ploy, or could be that they won't ever release an independent OST.

ora..

muni mune munny munni money..CASH

the more munny we spend the more we get alas the more comes out since they will se that the DVD edition's will probly become a hit (if it already isent one) so they wont probly release a stand alone OST

i mean why release 12 dvd's* or 7 + <sum numbers here>

i said 7 since theres 7 girls that really are in the anime

those that appear often that is..

but so far theres only 2 episodes per dvd

Schlemiel? That's the first time I've noticed Yiddish used in anything associated with anime. I grew up in New York City, and some Yiddish words were used so often, I thought they were English. Schlemiel wasn't one of them, however, although I heard it plenty of times. It was my high school chemistry teacher's nickname for me.

For those of you who don't know, it pretty much means dolt, idiot, retard, etc. A "schlemiel" spills the soup. The soup lands on a "schlimazel," a very unlucky person.

Now that you say both those words.... They're both in the Laverne & Shirley opening theme, for anyone who remembers back that far in the 70s (or, heck, who was even alive in the 70s )... I never knew what those words were or what they meant, now I know thanks!

This useless trivia brought to you by....

Yeah, actually... doesn't seem like they've announced the limited edition bonus contents for anything beyond DVD 5, so I'm not sure what the plan is beyond that. They probably could technically find enough characters to do 12 OST CDs, but I doubt they have that much background music. So, I imagine they might do something different somewhere down the line. (And yes, they have solicited 12 LE DVDs for the series, plus the Prologue DVD that included the first box.)

Ah, very interesting -- I was wondering about that. Thanks!

It wouldn't be the first time, though... Off the top of my head, I think one of the Mahoraba limited edition DVDs also had a CD included as an extra, and the songs on that CD aren't available seperately yet either (I suppose it still might happen, but by then the market will be cooled off). In either case, time will tell.

You may want to edit your first post too ...it's against rule 1.1 to post links to places that offer downloads of OSTs/op-eds and other mp3 rips....

Well, it's the Limited Edition DVD 2 (called "episode. 2") that contains episodes 3 and 4 of the TV series. Here it is on Amazon and CD Japan.

Incidentally, no, the anime OST CDs are not included therein. That's all game-based stuff, except for the anime OP and ED. Again, let's not talk about rips...
