Actually Destroy Gundams weren't really that big of a deal from what I could tell. Going from memory even the one in Berlin was easy to take out, with the main problems being Neo's gang and Shin himself when he found out who the pilot was.
The Destroy Gundams are just great big clumsy weapons of mass destruction, but they don't seem to have the speed to keep up with things like other Gundams. |

True, but there arent really alot of them out the- .. actually nevermind, this is the CE-verse.
Destroy's seem like the perfect grunt piloted grunt-killer, and to inflict as much chaos as possible on the battlefield, the triple chestcannon and the two backmounted ones seem to be perfect for taking out transports, as shown during the Zaft's assault on the EF base which name i can't recall. It seems more like a walking nuke than a mobile suit. |

Anyway this episode reminded me just how awesome Natarle, Murrue or any of the other Captains just can't compare to her. If only her fate was different. Last edited by Destined_Fate; 2012-09-28 at 13:28. |

Destroy's were good at collateral damage, wiping out legions of grunts in formation, and other land based MS's. And were invulernable to ranged weaponry. That was about it. Against a flight capable MS acting solo, or in a small spaced out group, with a melee weapon it was pretty much a sitting duck.
The only reason Kira had so much trouble was because it was invulnerable to his guns, and every time he tried to go in for melee Neo or Sting or Shinn would cut him off. Once the other two were down and Shinn was sufficiently distracted he downed it in two stabs. Of course I might not be giving it enough credit. It would be extremely effective in any battle that a Gundam wasn't present at. It's other major problem was the idiots in charge of deploying it deciding to send it to raze Berlin (their own freaking city) and horde the spares for base defense instead of say....dropping in on Carpentaria when Minerva was confirmed deployed far far away. |

Some things:
1. Cagalli apparently likes to go for the vulnerable-looking guys, first Kira and now Athrun, I guess she just likes feeling protective. 2. They're not changing the Strike scene, oh well. But what were Strike and Buster doing when they're supposed to protect the Archangel? 3. In hindsight, this episode is like a small precursor to Destiny phase 34: Kira got flustered when Archangel is in trouble and he semi-forget about the enemies he's fighting. 4. I just love the battle soundtracks. Anyway, thanks to Washu-Chan for embedding the video. I still haven't been able to watch it on YouTube. |

And this just means that much of a better; Perfect Strike vs Providence fight(if it happens). Because more budget to pour into it.
And they also need as much from the budget as they can, cause it gets Stock Footage heavy towards the end. |

From the color scheme, I think it belongs to Heine Westenfluss from Destiny, which is impossible since Heine is from ZAFT, and ZAFT never use a Dagger. I also don't think there's ever a dagger with a green color like in the pic.
