The ending was very lame .... but he did finally choose someone --- just not the way and time one might expect.

Here's hoping I"s proves far superior (which it seems to be so far).

I hate to be a skeptic, but with them only doing six episodes for a 15 volume manga there isn't much they can do with it. If I were in their shoes i'd definitely increase the amount of eps to at least 24-26, and even that may be too little to get all the meat out of an amazing story.

Hmmmm, if we're lucky in I"s ..... they're just going to do a little story arc with a minor victory at the end. I still have to admit some Ichigo 100% qualms when at the end of the first ep and it looks like he's doing well until

The manga and the anime are pretty much on track in regards to this event. It's just like how Yui shows up at Manaka's house.

I agree, the manga is very boring... Instead of going with the choice they should have... They decided to go with which girl was most popular. I am not complaining because I did in fact what this girl to be chosen but the problem is how they get together is horrible. In other words, let us hope that when they do release more OVAS (hopefully) they change the ending... Or at least make it more reasonable.

Favorite OVA? It would have to be OVA3. That one episode is just golden.

i posted this question in the old forum before it got hacked, but dint get a chacne to see the answer. i remember reading somethinga bout there being one last OVA to be released, in addition to the 4 (or was it 5?) OVAs already released. so is there one last one coming out?

It didn't *really* follow the books well... a lot of cut'n'paste from various segments.

The basic series kind of followed their first year, the OVAs just seemed to jump around a bit.

I think it was around 88 or so. The problem is Except for the Jump Fiesta OVA all other OVAs were new material except for part of ova 2

Well im new in this form, im just piss that on the manga how it ended, that just freaken annoying

This is the only anime and is stuck in my head for 4 days now. the fact that toujo was one of the first girls he likes and thats he mistake her for Nishino, thats the only reason he ask Nishino out, in one point of the manga he relized that and nothing happen afterward. I thought after Manaka first relationship he will choose the right girl for him

but then, ahh sorry to say hes a moron. I just really dont like the ending it just pisses me off because they dont explain what happen to the others, actually i dont get why he didnt end up with the girl that he suppose to? i feel like after i read the manga thats its still in the middle of the story not ended. i wonder is the series the same of the manga? i was thinking of downloading it hopping for soemthing will explain it more. sorry this manga was annoying as hell, but it just stuck in my head.

The series is the same up to girl 5 (Chinami? Gah it's been too long). After that all the movies and all the plots including Kozue have been shredded into 2 ovas.

The ending to the manga really upset me. It's upsetting to the point where I want the author to make an apology for being stupid, and write the correct ending.

The only real reason that Manaka goes out with Nishino is because he pities her (that not being the best reason to begin a relationship), not to mention the fact that almost all of the manga was about how Aya was the perfect match for Manaka...
