So it seem the anime didn't follow original manga, instead of time skipping to the main story they animate side stories/flashbacks in chronicle order first ? I hope it didn't turn out a disaster like SAO ^^"

Yes, he's immature and he always look for fights. If he goes to school, he would be in trouble all the time.

The only unusual person is the battleship. She's way too overpowered. All those little bullies are afraid of her. Her poker face is her moe attribute. She has her creepy part. She is as Alan's(?) stalker. She watches over him all the time. This obsession is as a syndrome.

The different giants means that they need the different tactics to overcome their threat.

less intense than the first episode, I like the fact they are trying to cover the 'past' first instead of jumping forward and backward, which made me really confused when I read the manga...

the let down, of course, we are gonna need to wait until around episode 4-5 to see some real action

ED song is a meh, but I like how they focused on Mikasa character there

Now that we've gotta a good look at the core characters, wow, I've gotta say that the anime really improved the character designs by leaps and bounds.

Very powerful episode. You could feel the utter frustration and helplessness in all the characters, especially the three kids.

Goddamn what an episode. That armored titan is pretty badass. Humans can't do jack shit and so we need a super human guys!

So the Titans made their move and ended the days of peace for the humans.
Eren & Mikasa. Those two make a good pair.
The whole Titan attack made this episode very intense.
It became clear rather fast that escape was a question of luck.
Mikasa is not a subtle girl, but that's exactly what Eren needs the most.
Can't wait to see them kill some Titans!

You know, one thing that baffles me is how...none of the guards on the outer wall of Shiganshina raised an alarm before the colossal titan attacked. Nor did they fire off their cannons on it. What's the point of having sentry guards?

Wow...watching in 720p reveal lots of thing i didn`t notice.

One part of the ED where it show Mikasa with lots of short knife stab on the ground...i notice the eyes drawn was pretty scary....confirm a Yandere....Run for your life Eren!
