you dont want button mashing but you also dont want cooldowns? doesnt cooldown prevent button mashing?
i understand for most part and most players 1-2 active skills is all it takes, but that's your choice of gameplay. with elective mode you can choose many other skills, if you make a build where 1 button can do it all, that's your "fault". you have upto 6 choices of active skills after all. also "simplistic control", you complain about that but want a simple 1 button gear swap? have your share of complicated control in the manual gear swapping instead of the skill swapping.

Its not a choice, the most efficient builds out there revolve around shift-point archon or right-click whirlwind.
One can argue: you don't have to use those builds, you can use something a lot more fun. Then I ask, then why play after the 20th playthough? Is grinding to paragon 100 "fun"? A part of playing the game is to get stronger over time, and being properly specced and geared is a part of that. There is a difference between using skills in the right order and at the right time VS going into your inventory and manually selecting gear (replaceable with equip swap macros). |

Whatever people are saying, I actually think the console version will be better than the PC one.
For one, it can be played in offline mode. Second, it has local multiplay. Not like I'm going to play it again, just saying it's not as bad as people are making it is.

Seriously, why is D3 considered crap? I had fun, got boring after a while and internet seemed broken when i played but it certainly wasn't crap... -shrug- High Standards much?
Is it the graphics? Because its not Gothic enough? Apparently gothic means dated graphics.

I don't see how it's "overpriced." It was $60 just like any other game, but you can actually make money, or used to at least (lolz). If you're talking about the new expansion being overpriced, it probably will be (I hope it won't, but knowing blizzard, it'll at least be $40), but not the original.
I haven't played D3 in over a year, I'm seriously tempted to reinstall and play again haha.
