Hayama isn't ready a good juge. He sometime mix what he think or want and the reality (like for exemple when Tatsuya and Miyuki encounter him at FTL for the flying CAD in volume 3, he says that Miyuki is the next head even if no decision are taken right now. It's right that Miyuki is the first on the list but that doesn't mean there isn't other on this list.)

BTW: Does someone can put all the summary of ninendo in a single place?

sorry, you mix Aoki with Hayama ( Hayama had formerly served the previous Yotsuba Head and was now continuing his service under Maya. While he only appeared slightly past middle age, he was actually over 70 years old.

There were many things in this house he was able to say that others would shrink back in fear from. )

Technically yes, but at the same time no. Tatsuya is the only successful one to use it, since he's the only successful experiment.

So the flash cast technique are also known as concept before and not as an existing skill? I thought there are some natural flash cast user so there use experiment to replicate the process.

No is like having the answer to a problem memorized before you work it out, Like knowing 2+2=4, 5x5=25 as long as it has few processes, the magic sequence is already stored in his mind. There are people with similar skills but it's not flash cast.

random question about the Ten Master Clan

Currently, the Ten Master Clans consisted of "Ichijou", "Futatsugi", "Mitsuya", "Yotsuba", "Itsuwa", "Mutsudzuka", "Saegusa", "Yatsushiro", "Kudou", and "Juumonji", which just happened to number from one to ten chronologically. However, this was the first time this had occurred since the Ten Master Clans had been formed, and there have been situations where one or two numbers were either duplicated or missing altogether.

does this mean they can have 2 number seven in the system ?


and another question about the hundred families.
take Chiyoda for example, what happens if they climb to Ten Master Clan level ?
so, they should change their name ? ( we know the ten master clan bear the numbers one through ten in their names )

Yes and no. It doesn't necessarily have to be a single digit number.

There is no indication that it is the case. Their magics aren't even that close. They are both vibration oriented, but that's where the similarity ends. Its not even an uncommon system to begin with, unlike the mental-manipulation magics.

Ya, that's probably the case. but considering the difficulties that shizuku's parent have to go through to accept approval, i think that shizuku mother's would be from the hundred family(like Kanon). The magic community would more likely to stop such relation if shizuku's comes from the hundred family and instead of normal magician. The magician seems to highly treasured talented magician's genetic material and they often discriminated untalented magician. So i think they wouldn't give a though if Shizuku's mother is not from the hundred family. Then again, the oscillation magic is very common so they might not be related at all.

The hierarchy system is based on: Power (Magicians strenght), Influence and Economics, from top to below:
1. According General ret. Retsu Kuduo: Saegusa and Yotsuba are the most powerfull, however further in the series and in special on Double Seven Ninendo, 4th House are ready considered top elite unreach class type, even for the rest 9 houses of the Master Clans, to put it simple: "They are in another dimension of power", thats why Katsuto sent clear and strong message to Koichi in D7 part 5: "leave any attempt against Yotsuba" or was "Dont mess with the Yotsuba?, we can see on vol 9 Mayumi accepting her dad was caught messing with Yotsuba interests.
1.1: 10 Master Clans
1.2: 18 "Auxiliary" houses, belongs to one digit numbers buts their specs could get close to top elite.
2. 28 Houses.
3. 100 Families.
4. Ancient Users Clans.
5. Extras o demoted and even striped from their Houses names, due crimes, misconduct or really dangerous like Suzune family.

All are integrated or affiliated to the 10 Master Clans, anyway the Council are not like monarchy and cuz this the affiliation is more to attain certain protection from other Houses, Clans or Families, say as strategic alliances, like Shippou are in 7th Clan following Saegusa House, thats doesnt meant couldnt discard coup d etat attemps inside the Clans, like Takuma trying now in D7, at least in his dope brain, but anyway who could blame poor bastart doesnt even know are try to mess with tail of the tiger or maybe a Dragon??

Shizuku (Resonance/ common oscillation magics)
Honoka (Light Oscillation magics)
Kirihara (Sonic Blade)

Even Miyuki (All kind of Freezing magics)


All of them are specialists in oscillation system magics.

Yes, it's VERY common.

Tatsuya (non-systematic counter magics with oscillation trait in Vol1, Sound Amplifier in Vol4)
