My synopsis:

In Tokyo, there is a rapid succession of serial murders. In each of the cases, the victims had their blood drained out of them. The perpetrators are called, "mutants." Mutants are beings that have the abilities that belong to a particular animal. By sucking human blood, they can transform into their true form.

Hachi, the protagonist, has the keen smell of a dog. Will this special ability allow him become the hero/detective that he so desires?
