ASCII Media Works has a writing contest every year, presumably as a scouting system (Series like Baccano!, Spice and Wolf, and Accel World)

Right now, the winner for the grand prize takes 3 million Yen, gold takes 1 million, silver takes 500K.

Also, the company's the only one to offer web-to-novel adaptations stories, SAO and Mahouka. (Miki Kazuma is the editor-in-charge) For that, I think they're the only ones willing to take the risks in getting such stories commercialized, and the payoff was worth it.

Magdala will be green-lit before we see Holo animated again, if that will ever happen.

Edit:
From what i can understand from dengeki website, there's a BIG announcement incoming in 10/6
So if you were in the shoes of a producer what adaptation would you announce ?

Mahouka
Game Sensou
Murabito A
Heavy Object (dream)
Hakomari
Index S3
Do you think the recent mahouka.jp domain registration has anything to do with that?

Nice, Dengeki Bunko thread.

Can this also be the "Dengeki Bunko fan-translation begging" thread?

There isn't -_- as far as I'm aware off but Mahouka would surely gets an animation. It would be stupid to not do it.

But if they are doing animation. I wish sunrise or is it studio 7? would do it. Heck, they even had an advertisement of it in AW.

Sorry; dynamic content not loaded. Reload?

First saw it here, then it got featured on a japanese blog too (or it's probably the opposite)

Compared to other publications I'm sure this isn't necessary for dengeki bunko

With the current rain of success from this publisher, JC staff who's adapting their works also received those blessings.

I think that's a good partnership for both company.

But, not all are successful, KamiMemo was one of it, wishing another run for that show.

Sadly, Sakurasou wasn't a great success either despite it's good reception.

And They just managed to salvaged Shana's reputation with the last season.

Then there's Ōkami-san which I like a lot as well, but that did about the same as Sakurasou.

I can compare Sakurasou to Toradora before, I really thought the anime did the job well. But not as popular as the latter one.

Shana don't know, since I stop watching that after the second season, maybe the saying "Strike while the iron is hot." can be applied in here, since that lost the charm of the show who once lift KugiRie to the top.

Is there a way to make Everyone happy ?
If I look by the numbers I would say there are a lot of happy people.
