I thought Child of Oblivion is a being borned from love of the Wolf Mask and Martial Artist? Unless it's one and same thing.

Is Layfon the only one?

I'm not sure but Layfon should be the child of oblivion and maybe its true that its also a child of a wolf mask and matial artist but I'm not sure. I only remember that its outside of fate or something along those lines. Does the child of oblivion mentioned in the main novels? cause i stop reading in the end of vol 13? the part where Layfon tried to rescue Leerin in Glendan but failed. I haven't read pass that part yet.

Plus isn't the child of oblivion from crusade? I'm not sure anymore.

Child of Oblivion was only mentioned in Crusade, and that's Layfon. Being a child of Wolf Face, he is an exception to the fate.

If the Chrome Shell world is a computer program, Layfon is the bug. The product of the bug is the Missing Mail manga, where the world detached from the original fate.

Thanks for the news, i have yet to read but wth is Nina doing with Fonfon and Felli in the last page. will read ir now but if the author try to worm Nina between their 2 then i have no expectation left for him.

The thing is, this is the end, so expectations don't matter anymore. And I'm not sure that is Nina, she looks a little different. I thought it was that new character Layfon was supposed to be guarding or whatever.

yup it's Nina. a guy in my country said that the last picture is Nina's story. During her mission, she met with Fonfon and Felli and these two agreed to aid Nina in her mission.

That's the ending? It... felt kind weird or detach or maybe because all the battle is already finished. But its really weird... what is Nina now? She has control of how many electric fairy and what does she do now? It looks like the couple that elope just travels in the vast world.

Done reading.... this this.... the story ends at the beginning of a brand new story arc.

Spoiler for vol.25:

Sometime after the defeat of Welzenheim, Elhard Gate was discovered. It was a portal to the Aurora Feild, and people witness the miracle through the gate. Though no detail was given.

There was a scientist who was obsessed with what he saw and tries recreate the miracle by opening a gate himself. He succeeded in doing so 9 years into the new calender. But instead of miracle, new invaders now known as Slegkag came through the gate.

Later, the plan was taken over by the alliance, trying to send people into Aurora Field to find out where the Selgkag came from and what were their objective. It was not stated directly, but the two people who traveled into Aurora Field were Layfon and Felli.

Now 14 years into the new calender, Nina is serving as a war time mediator and commanding the third army of the alliance. She's on a mission to hunt down a certain group of Slegkag. We were not given any info on whether she still has her E-fairies or not (most E-fairies turned themselves into trees to revitalize the earth). But Nina is so powerful now she even has techniques that controls gravity.

Either way, a giant Selgkag came down from the Aurora Field, and so does Layfon and Felli. The story ends as they are going to attack the giant. And despite not outright stated, it was hinted that Layfon and Felli are mutants now.

BTW, the queen had a son, but we don't know who the father is. Cornelio and Shante had a daughter, they are now living in Glendan too. Eyen and Saya is using Leerin as a host while recovering from the damage they had taken from Welzenheim. Both the queen and Cornelio's child are studying in Leerin's orphanage, because the kids are too powerful to go to normal schools. (While the truth is that the queen and Shante are horrible parents, causing troubles here and there, even at school. So they got chased out from the school and have no option but to send their kids to Leerin).

Finally, the queen has discovered the way not just halt her again, but can regain her youth. She now looks like a teenage girl.

im sorry, but i just have to ask, are there any details about layfon relationship with felli? in the last vol. they just elope right, i mean whether they are stately going out, married, or anything else?

Layfon and Felli has no screen time until the very end when they fell back into Chrome Shell world from the Aurora Feild. In other words, they have the least screen time.
The only thing we know about them was that they were in the Aurora Field for a long time.

The author said he has rest of the story thought out. But Regios still ends here. On the other hand, he is starting two more new novels.

what happen in the whole volume then if they appeared at the end?

It has been 9 years since the battle with Welzenheim? its a 9 years time skip?

Who are the ones who died?

It is a 14+ year time skip.
The new calender started after sometime the fight with Welzenheim. And the current year is 14.

The first four chapter are short stories that are the remaining short stories the editors squeezed in there.
The last two chapters are after stories. One speaks about the aftermath on some of the characters, the other one tell us what Nina has been doing.

also after 14+ years, layfon and felli looks the same as before, is that because mutant?
