Although that leads to a different problem - why wasn't Bachgetsu poisoned by Ichigo's hollow presence? As soon as Ichigo hollowified, it should have started killing him, making the block on Ichigo's powers go

I think the black pills are just little hollow reiatsu portions. Uryuu never had hollow reiatsu "injected" so it was no problem.. which makes me wonder if the best way to fight Quincies would be to hunt them with reiatsu injections

anyway, decent bleachscience haha but I expect the Vizards to be finally useful

This turn of events may have bought SS some time. But, they're still going to need a lot more to win. Fortunately, SS still has a lot more pieces left to reveal (a few unrevealed Bankai's they can actually use now, Vizards, former FB's, Squad 0, Grimmjow, KENPACHI...and oh yeah, Ichigo.) Still waiting to see what Aizen's role is going to be in all this.

Just realized one temporary counter Kubo might have the Quincy's use to stop all this.

Remember when Kirge absorbed all of Ayon and Harribel's fraccion into his own body and even managed to take on some of Ayon's physical traits?
So since Sklaverei can clearly be used to make any kind/type of spirit particles "absolutely subordinate" (even an arrancar's body), then Sklaverei might be capable of controlling or even nuetralizing the hollow spiritual energy inside those stolen bankai's to keep them from poisoning them.

I'm really tired about the fact that the only useful people in this manga are Ichigo and Urahara.

The two of them should just kick all shingamis out and rule themselves because those guys are simply useless.

What, so he defeated him, off-screen, in the time it took for Soi Fong and Hitsugaya's fights to turn around, and our only evidence of this is a casual aside? I think that would be worse than Kubo just forgetting he was there...

That was sad. Most fights this arc have been onesided. There is no sort of competition that makes us root for the heroes just pity.

I think this is why I find Ichigo's fights more likable. In most fights he has a lot of BS but he never stomps on enemies like Kenpachi or the others (except in his round against Aizen but it looked like Aizen was going to win in the end)

It still doesn't really matter for Hitsu though....Mohawk can easily kill him and Matsumoto off right there after Cang explodes.

So is there any other purpose to this "hollows are poisonous to quincies" reveal other than for the bankai thing? Also why isn't Ichigo dead? He's a hollowified Quincy.

Even Ichigo is missing from the recent chapters.

It's about damn time that kisuke figured out a way to fix the Bankai issue. And Mayuri is jealous as always trying to hang up on him and Kisuke knowing exactly what he would do prepares to pop right out of no where just in case! He's always such a funny character.
