Persona 4: Dancing All Night (PS Vita)
As with PQ, this game was mentioned in the P5 thread, but might be worth discussing in its own right.
Persona 4: Dancing All Night is the result of a collaboration between Atlus and Dingo (the developers of the Project Diva series), and will involve Kujikawa Rise, the P4 protagonist, and others old and new. (I wonder if that means we'll see the chibi designs from Persona Q being used in a Project Mirai-esque counterpart on the 3DS...)

Potentially the best thing about the existence of this game for me will be the remixes of various Persona music. Heck we can even hear one in the trailer.~
Though I wonder if the characters' personas will even appear in this game.

Persona has had some great tunes for quite some time now so I can definitely say I'm thinking of importing this one.
Also: it looks like we get to meet Kanamin at long last. Can't wait to see her interact with Rise

I'll treat this in a sense like the Arena games. Not much of a rhythm game person, but I do like the music in the persona games. So some focus on Rise and even Kanamin could be pretty fun. Certainly a good option for a game that could get me into the genre a little.
Luckily at the time all I had near me was a spoon . The P5 announcement came soon enough to save the day.

I almost did a spit-take at seeing Narukami dancing in the middle of two idols
It's a shame this probably won't include P3 music, because I would be pretty amused at seeing the cast breakdance while hearing BABY BABY BABY BABY in the background |

I wouldn't be surprised if they used P3's music. While P4 focused character wise, no reason not to abuse all the great tracks they have at their disposal.

I'm not really surprised - IIRC Rise's seiyuu is Kugimin, who's played Idols before (particularly Iorin from iDOLM@STER, and she's even performed life in-character. Mind, she can't dance to save her life, particularly in the Smoky Thrill set, but then that's why you have Azusa (Chiaking), who can dance good enough to compensate for everyone else ).

Well I suppose it's par for the course of rebooting her idol career. At least the odds are probably pretty good that they are going to give a variety of costume options for a game like this. Though I suppose there would be some comical value to this game having less costume options than Golden itself .
