http://page11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/j...ion/n131643038 Crazy auction prices for the all TE blu-ray purchase privilege Kyoto Ablazed novel. Will probably go towards 40,000 yen which may equate to a great number of blu-rays. |

By the way, any full write up for Phase 3 in LD8? I would like to know if they're pushing that the Shiranui Type 1C is a test bed for the Takemikazuchi rather than the standard, even though the Kotobukiya manual and other sources have said they've tested it with the Shiranui tech for a couple of years already, but the Type 1C component could have been a final add in before the Takemikazuchi was finalised adopted in 2000.

There is one.
To the best of my understanding, the text says something like "it was developed on the basis of Shiranui Mk 1-C, which was the test-bed for Type-00 Takemikazuchi." It doesn't really go into it much further, since the write-up changes to a different topic (and with it, may more funny signs that I do not recognize). I'm pretty much 89% certain of it, but I'll probably try to run it past some else to see if matches up.

Any other new profiles for unreleased TSF or supplements for existing ones?
The Type 1C being the test bed for the Type-00 is an odd retcon. I don't thank that's the only thing as Kouki mentioned the inconsistent visual depictions of the Tornado ADV through various media. https://twitter.com/Sidehiwinder/sta...977600/photo/1 We're pretty sure that the ADV is the one with the fixed blade gauntlets. |

No, the only other entry is from the franken TSF Theo uses nowadays in Schwarz (which is a MiG-23 with 21s head).
Yeah, it is a bit odd, especially since IJA and IRG are supposed to be two different services....though I wouldn't put it past the IRG to somehow "acquire" a Type 94 and use it for their R&D. The Allied Strategy book (which is supposedly a collection of earlier LD volumes) does have a TSF development timeline, which shows Type-00 as being an outgrowth of Type-94 program.

Alright, I ran the text past a native speaker.
It turns out that Type 94 1-C was not used in the development of Type-00. Instead, data from Type 94 1-C and Type-00 was used to develop Shiranui Phase 3. Back to making sense.

Non-Scale Raptor and 1/144 Su-47pzx are out. The next scheduled releases are the 1/144 Takemikazuchi with drop tank and later the Non-scale Takemikazuchi Ver 1.5.
I will get the Non-scale Raptor. Don't know what the future holds, but I want a Non-scale Eagle. I don't really collect any other mecha figures anymore except maybe a few Robot Damashii Ka Signatures and the remaining Unicorn releases. In terms of past released mecha toys, I have used mandarake to go back in time and got all of them. |

Looking good. Will need to wait for reviews to confirm articulation.

Hey guys,
Sorry but can someone tell me what is so special about the deluxe edition of those 1/100 non-scale kit such as the Takemikaduchi Type-00F? I am planning to order it but I can't seem to find any reviews anywhere about it. :P

Deluxe if I'm not mistaken the kit is painted in a clear coat, so when you build your 00F, it looks kinda shiny. |

Hot? I hope this is the definitive version of the Takemikazuchi. It comes with two support gun attachments. Gun mounts can now rotate. Not sure about any new joints for the jump units. As it is a Ver 1.5, it is bound to have shared parts with the previous version. I guess this means they will update parts based on common tree groups. EDIT: Based on Koto site New mould for katana and assault gun, detachable 120mm magazine along with support gun attachment. Pelvis-thigh joints revised for improved possibility and sturdiness. Revised knee armor for movement range Ankle joint improved - now same height as all other non scales (YAY!) Waist forward and backward articulation(introduced in 1/144) Gun mounts and forearms can rotate backwards. Jeezs, I made such an effort to get all the previous Takemis(Non scale and Volks) and now they have a perfect substitute. Though I did not get the Type-00C non scale due to this being announced. Okay, good thing is this guy obviously looks better due to slightly lengthened legs, but sculpt wise, it is the same. I've always found it weird how it has skinny neck and wide gap from its shoulders. Last edited by calubin_175; 2014-02-06 at 05:24. |
