Then, how much could it be self-fixed? After all, that is one of the basic requirement for every setinel existance like Core.

And as I see it, stats of personal IS always change. So would it be that the development of 2nd and 3rd generation are just speed-it-up by human?

Nope

I.S. are closer to real robot than super robot, they can't self debug and entirely dependent on human. Notice how ByakuShiki's energy issue get even worse, and Gospel (contrary to anime depiction) never get faster than it is before.

Without human intervention, core can only grow, never change.

So basically, a Core is like a e-book, am I correct? Can do grammar check, can record the data and giving prediction with it, but nothing more?

You got it backwards

Think of the core as evolving software and firmware

core can optimize an I.S. growth and development, but it can only go so far if the base hardware is crap.

You also need to 'tune' it to avoid bug.

Say, what would happen if a student exceed in all area except IS? Like someone doesn't want to have a job relates to IS, but entered the school because of its quality and name?
Also, in the case of a unit that is the duplicate of Gundam Blossom (but fixed the flaw), how much will you rate it with Blue Tear?

The IS is actually like a tree. It will grow and it will develop. But that is for otimization. Human intervention is to rune the bush so it grows as intended. Kind of like bonsai. The greatest flw of IS is ironically its greatest strength. The ability to adapt and evolve in an unchecked pace.

Plenty of them are barely qualified.

Also, it's already stated that I.S.A. graduates will get instantly scouted for further education or career advancement program

Pro-IS pilots most likely. Worshipped as rockstars/star athletes. Possibly idol industry. Military isn't far off. Being inducted into scholarly research puruits isn't impossible either.

Nah! Knowing him, a test-pilot for space project is quite possible. His IS is made for it, plus, you've got to admit, he has been testing to the limit by the girls.

Somehow, I find myself motivated to write an Gundam AGE crossover. The AGE system could be considered to be a Core, at least.
