Probably with the blu-ray, which hasn't been announced yet.

"See You Tomorrow" Lyrics

This might be old news to everyone else, but I just discovered it. If you look at the lyrics for the first ending theme "See You Tomorrow," suddenly it doesn't seem so adorable. In the context of what Madoka says it Rebellion, it's actually super tragic.

I wave, saying "Well, see you later"
Making myself smile, getting lonely
I really still want to talk to you

But seeing you again means lying
I'll say with a smile as usual
"See you tomorrow"

I pretend I'm used to being alone
But I'm really not that strong

No official word yet. Movies 1 and 2 came out in late 2012, and the BDs were released in late July 2013. Movie 3 came out in Oct 2013. So my guess is that the BD with the soundtrack will be released in July/August 2014. Just a guess, of course.

Not exactly. They can adapt Kazumi Magica. They should adapt Kazumi Magica.

Too bad. I really feel that it surpassed several of the nominated entries personally.

At least The Wind Rises got nominated.

Yeah, I definitely intend to import this one. Just a matter of whether I do so through Rightstuf or Amazon.jp.

I got to watch it with the rest of Australia, movie was fantastic and I can't wait til season 2 is finally with us.

Watching it with properly translated subtitles made the story much more sensical too, so now everything makes more sense, including how Homu transformed into her demon form.
I know some will say that it still makes no sense but they can believe what they want.

Anyone know if the image being shown for the Bluray at the moment (with Madokami and Homura) is for both the limited and regular, or just one? Most sites updated the limited with the new image, but are still using the original Ume art for the regular. I absolutely hate the new art, so I'd prefer to get a version without it.

The more to the left (and on top) you are, the more money you contributed to production and the more you earn in revenue streams. Aniplex will earn the majority of disc profits (video/music) while getting small cuts of other streams like books (Houbunsha) and merch (Movic) as part of the original publisher. Shaft will get a small cut from what everyone else gives them, but not as much as Aniplex will get from their streams and everyone else. Shaft does earn some extra due to being 1/4th of Magical Quartet, but we don't know if Shinbo/Ume/Urobuchi/Shaft split the "original creator" money equally. Basically everything goes back to Aniplex in a much greater fashion than Shaft.
Nitroplus actually threw in more resources into this than Shaft themselves?

So I believe I've made it extremely clear on numerous occasions how I feel that the ending to this movie is completely stupid and does not make the slightest bit of sense in the context of the previously established universe the story takes place in. That said, I was just reading the Wild Mass Guessing for this movie over at TVTropes... and came across by far the most thorough, comprehensible and actually surprisingly logical explanation I've ever seen for this whole thing. It's under "How Homura did it."

So unless I can Fridge Logic up some counterargument to that... My one remaining seriously major huge complaint of epic proportions about this movie may have just vanished into thin air
