The episode was quite intense, although I had a feeling things will turn out the way it did. I didn't expect any major deaths anymore, and it looks like that will happen.

Seriously. I was wondering why they showed Bi in the first place and mention that he picked up quite a large army. He just vanished after that. If he is not even going to make an appearance anymore in this battle, I don't know what to say. It was like the author had a thought, then changed his mind.

I won't get surprise if he used his prize to buy armor for his troops and just pick random one for himself

I miss Qiang Lei. With only 3 episodes to go, this is sort of depressing. Diao is ok, but the excitement watching the last few episodes is not that much. I really do wonder what it will be like when Qiang Lei returns. They mentioned that the Feixin Unit is all together now, but that is not true. It won't truly be a complete unit until Qiang Lei returns.

Qiang Lei actually rivals Xin in battle strength, and she is the better strategist. For quick, on the battlefield adjustments, there are few that could rival her.

Also, with her return, it will probably be some sort of love triangle with Diao. However, it seems like Xin has some feelings for Qiang Lei and vice versa. He outright stated that Diao is like a sister to him, so I'm not sure how much of a love triangle that will be.

I have not heard any news for a continuation series, so that is a bit depressing considering how good this series was. Kingdom does decently well in manga sales, ranking at #14 (below Toriko and above Bleach) last year. If this is the end of the anime, I would be depressed for a bit.

are they rushing things. we didn't get to see two young chu commanders, and rinbukun. the back story of genkishin wasn't that much interesting but at least they could get him to talk a bit more. it seem they want to end this season with invasion

*Sigh* Only 1 more episode to go. It looks like the series will end on a sort of cliff hanger. They are introducing too many new elements to the storyline right now, and with only 1 episode to go, it will really look like a lot of set up.

There are unconfirmed rumors that there will be a 3rd series, but as long as I don't see anything official, I can't put too much faith in it. This series is too good not to have a continuation. Regardless, since I haven't heard of anything official, I think the earliest there could be another season is at least a year away. Now, if the last episode next week announces something, then I'd be very happy.

Xin has made quite a name for himself across other nations. It is understandable that an information broker country would know about Xin, but by that fact alone, major officials from the other countries must know about him, too. I'm still amazed at no matter how much larger an army the enemy is, the Feixin unit never seems to lose any significant amount of soldiers in the battle. They are constantly at 1000 no matter how many battles they go through. Oh well, it is a work of fiction so that's all I'm going to say about it.

It is also funny how occasionally in the Feixin Unit, one of the mountain people just randomly appear at times. They never really explained or elaborate about the mountain people in the Feixin Unit.

Xin is quite strong now. He could be considered a monster general himself, considering he took down a supposedly strong 2 thousand man general with one strike. Soon, he might be able to finally wield Wang Qi's lance.

Really hoping for a 3rd season here. The first one was great already, but the second saw a vast improvement in art/animation.
And i can't remember a single bad episode this season. There was something truly special about the art and direction.

For those who want to move on to the manga now: The (current) manga translators use the japanese names, e.g. "Shin" instead of "Xin", so be prepared to relearn all names again

Eh, you get used to it pretty easily. Even though the subbers have been using the Chinese names, you can still hear the Japanese pronunciations every time the characters speak.

I agree, its a quick transition
