I'm honestly curious if the author is going to finally touch on the romance aspect of the story. It was put in the back burner the last 15 or so chapters.

Finally the last chapter is translated. In the end the only Astrea is the only one who got "freed". And I really the last scene with Chaos.

because she still in a way is, chaos had to absorb 7 black ikaros/betas to get to where she is at. if it wasn't for that, she wouldn't be anywhere close to how strong Ikaros is. also you have to look at the fact that the leader thought of chaos as a failure, so she wouldn't be in its history that been written.
Astraea may have things that allow her to beat Ikaros, but Ikaros is much smarter, if you remember that fighting Tournament chapter, Ikaros beat Astraea by sniping her.

Who's to say the Ikaros' Pandora can't evolve just like Astraea's can? Plus her attacks and her variable wing core are also clear cuts above any and all Angeloids.

Well, she "was" the strongest. In a straight up fight between their base levels, she'd murder both of them at once. But Chaos haxxed it up by absorbing the Melan androids variable cores, and Astrea is f***ing Astrea, she is the angeloid version of Tomoki and the only one who could break the programming by sheer force of will.

It isn't like Ikeros MKII could deploy her full force considering how the story went in the last chapters. Hell, even before the pandora activation, she has "the" nuke, aka Apollon. So a full force Ikaros MKII would probably be overkill.

I don't think Ikaros would want that kind of evolution cause she wants to be forever bound to her master (Tomoki).

Chaos has Apollon too, and Ikaros outright said in Ch. 56 she couldn't block her attack.

My eyes watered up here and there, but when Chaos showed up, my eyes let loose the floodgates.

What a great way to end the main story, with a happy Chaos crying happily in Tomoki's arms. She finally got her happy ending. T_T
