I've never buy a GFF for myself, but how sturdy is it compare to typical HG? And is it consider to be Gunpla?

Wasn't GFF is closer to action figures than model kit? Also, damn the price.

Quite sturdy if you ask me.

I usually refer to this site for GFF reviews: Gunpla Inochi

I own the MK-III, Hyaku Shiki Kai, FA RX-78-2 and MK-II with Barzam, so I'll share my experience with them.

The GFF line is more like a display unit, not meant for posing or articulation. The details are much more prominent than the Robot Damashii line since it's Katoki's versions, thus more decals, custom paintjobs and panel lines. The stiff joints are easily loosened and the kit stability is dependent on the unit. Most of them are 1/144 scale but there's the Metal series which is more like 1/100 in size. I'd say it's more like a Gunpla that has been painted and decaled.

The RX-78-2 and MK-II was very stable, as with the FA and Barzam counterparts. Parts fitted nicely but there wasn't much to fiddle around with.

The MK-III and Hyaku Shii however, were sturdy in its base form. However, the FA versions for both, while looking really fierce and dominating, has parts easily falling off at a slight touch.

So, while I do recommend GFF, I advise that it's more for displaying only, rather than to play around with. If you can select the GFF, it's better since you can see through the packaging window to spot any warped or bad paint jobs, flashes at the edges or missing pieces. Enjoy your first GFF if you ever get one, especially if it is the Deepstriker. If not, there's also the Cosmic Region (SEED Units), Zeonography (Zeon Units) and 00 Region.

Thanks! But I don't think that I will have enough money for the Denbrodium. So what GFF UC units do you recommend? Minus the Gundam variations and OYW MS.

No spoilers but... Just finished watching the new Gundam BF. I gotta get the GM Sniper K9 now. I always love gms and grunts, they nailed it though. Someone must be really pushing this to give it such cool screen time.

I'd order one myself as well after watching the latest episode. If it wasn't for the plot armor, we could have had more battles with this guy.

Okay.
So I looked online and found some picture reviews of the Masterpiece Shining Gundamn and God Gundamn.

I found this Chinese site (or some Asian):

http://www.dalong.net/review/mg/m49/mg49_p.htm
http://www.dalong.net/review/mg/m44/mg44_p.htm

Anyway, I have a few questions.

1. Where can I buy this guy the cheapest and with the fastest delivery time? I live in the USA.
2. How come you have to paint the laser green and laser orange hands?
3. Does this guy come with the screws and screw driver or is it something you have to buy separately?
4. I remember in the anime the God Gundamn uses that Street Fighter, Hadooken move. Does this Masterpiece come with the Hadooken clear effect part? I think I saw some DArt MegaMan toys that have the blaster effect pieces that you needed to paint up or something.
5. What does it mean that these 2 Masterpiece Gundam models cost ¥2500 yen yet? Does it mean that these two will cost ¥5000? Like $500 USA dollars? Why are they so expensive?! How come some people afford buy so many?
6. I was told that the Masterpiece Gundamn models have a frame or something you need to build? What is that and how come the Shining and God Gundamn have a huge hole when you take off the colorful parts? Is that a defect or something that the makers screws up on or is this normal for Masterpiece Gundamn models?
7. Since these models are over 10 years old, does that mean that the makers will make a new version with upgrade pieces and stuff like game companies that remake their game systems every few years with upgrade parts?
8. Did the maker make a Masterpiece model for the Riser Gundamn and the Satan Gundamn? Oh and what about that Nobul?
9. Are the Masterpiece model hard to make?

Sorry if I am asking a lot of questions. I just finished watching the anime TV episodes for Gundamn G and it was fun. It was like Street Fighter, Mega Man, Naruto, Devil May Cry, and Tekken mixed up but with robots.

The K9 pack? I dont quite dig it despite its smart "tactical" use

I hope it comes with the parts for the normal backpack/thrusters, thats the main deciding factor for me it seems

I dig everything else

Hey, do you have a YouTube channel and a blog?

I'd just like to say that 2500 yen is only about 25 USD, so you can compare with online retailers, like Amazon, Gundamguy or if you're planning for bulk purchases, directly from Japan's HLJ or Hobby Search.

That's the "whole" point of the k9 unit though. For the K9 backpack. I guess the option parts make the GM cooler, but you should just stick to the GM Sniper II. If you don't mind spending, you could kit bash the K9 HG with gm sniper II's backpack.

I don't like the normal sniper's colors as much though lol (I love military green colors to death)

And the K9 got freaking dual pistols, which Im a HUGE sucker for, and it got 2 sniper rifles

As for kit bashing....the problem is I dont have green to paint the backpack of the normal II if the K9 does not come with it ._.

I wonder what other packs the GM Sniper back can take, perhaps I may have other options out there

Assemble the K9 pack but without any of the limbs and stick verniers into the hollow points

Alternatively, something like the Gunpla Battle Arms or Build Booster MK-II may fit well.

I'm not a fan of the K9 backpack itself since it looks like a dead dog. I just wished that I had an extra Ground Gundam weapons container backpack.
