Both Hajime and Yue excels at fighting from long range. Let's just say that war breaks out against two sides. Hajime range of attack is 10KM, if the church+students still can survive his Dakka barrage, they still have to face Yue's uber non-incantation magic. Hajime can also fight at close range, utilizing synergy, he could easily change the terrain to his advantage, not to mention he is cunning. When enemy focused at him, it would be too late to realize that on his feet, is a "parting gift" from Hajime. Now let's add Shia. Her physical stats, according to Yue, surpassed Kouki. So it's a total annihilation to church + students. But In my opinion, Hajime party lack defenses, even though he have a tower shield + synergy, that does not equal absolute defense. This fact might help the church+students with rising their chance of winning, slightly.

Im kinda certain that he could slaughter them wholesale singlehandedly. They aren't even close to being in the same league. While they are messing with the equivalent of bows and arrows, Hajime has got his trusty rocket launcher. They seem to treat it like some kind of game to be won, while he is a night-vision/heat-seeking ninja. Its not even the absurd difference in stats at this point, its the difference in attitude.

The "benefit" from eating becomes lesser with time; it becomes more difficult to improve the body. It came to a point where he could only get benefits from high tier monsters, unlike the beginning where eating everything was helpful--- as in, you can't "grind it". Only by eating he wasn't that good (roughly 1k level stats).

It's likely that even "eating" still has "limits" and thus he wouldn't be able to go through lvl 100 only with that----- When he really got strong is when he "stopped fighting" and used the chance he had to train & study as to better prepare himself for the future.

BTW, he adviced Yue on hiding their strength so that they aren't forced to participate on the war due to their performance. Oh, and most of the items that he got where created by an enemy of God / the Church, hence it's "sacrilege" and it could get them into trouble.

Yeah I also agree, maybe the new heroine will be some kind of tank to help balance out the party? Do you think that Hajime can continue leveling? I know its ??? even though max for a human is 100 but considering that he is part demon, I think its possible to maybe reach ∞.

Are the Church and the monarchy in general extremely corrupt? I seem to read something about the King and the Pope not giving a f@#k about Hajime dying.

Pretty early at one point he once cursed God for summoning him and the world for abandoning him, but he has gotten a lot brighter now (the power of team work ). No, but he does want to get back to his world and bring Yue along. He has no desire to be the butt of everyone's condescension or go back to his previous personality though. He just doesn't want to be stuck on that hell fighting for his life all the time. I think he will eventually choose to stay, but we will see...

Btw, Kaori didn't pity him, she actually admired him. Her reasons made sense too. Although her speech about protecting him trampled even more on his self-esteem.

Kaori's feelings for him are very geniune, in fact now that she can't meet him she longs to know if he is safe, while having an unshakeable belief that he is alive. Her feelings and resolution have grown very strong; the fact that she has grown up braver and stronger has all been thanks to her hope of meeting Hajime again; and it's pretty obvious that she is fated to be the damsel in distress "the next time" and that she is going to believe in him till the end.

Also her emotional rollercoaster after he went MIA was very much real and not 'fake'.

If I understood it correctly, Oscar says that if he clears all 8 of the large dungeons, Hajime can get some god level item to return back to his world(which he hopes to take Yue with). So is his primary goal right now trying to clear those 8 dungeons instead of going back because of feelings of betrayal?
