No matter how you look it, Wave can't do this by himself. He's gonna need allies, and this is where the truce with NR comes into play.
This arc is going to be glorious: NR + Jaeggers vs WH. Add to this the Rakasha demon that survived and general Budou entering the fray. |

But that doesn't mean Esdese is loyal to the empire. She fight for it because it fits her dog-eat-dog point of view, allows her to live the life she is comfortable with and didn't do anything that make her upset. But it's another story if it piss her off...

Man, I don't know if Shura has let the power/authority run away to his head, but I don't know if needlessly antagonizing the Jaegers is in his own best interest. Yes, Shura is the PM's son, but the Jaegers by now is more or less Esdese's personal group, and if Wild Hunt and the Jaegers come into direct conflict, I really can't see the PM choosing to support Shura over Esdese if simply because Esdese is 'empire's strongest' and turning her against him would lose him quite a lot of power and security. I mean, considering general Rivers as an example, simply because Esdese is so useful to the PM, even a 'criminal' like Rivers who had gotten the PM's disfavor was more or less fully pardoned.
In that sense, I don't think framing the Jaegers for a crime would be that feasible, although it is fortunate for Shura/Wild Hunt that Esdese is off repelling the foreign forces atm. Their best best for getting rid of the Jaeger members would be via assassination and then framing NR, although that could be difficult since the Jaeger members are pretty strong, and none of the Wild Hunt strengths seem to be geared towards assassination. tl;dr: Shura picking a fight with the Jaegers is stupid even if he is the PM's son.

A lot of people seem to think Esdese would side with Wave and what he did in "going against the prime minister" and I for the life of me can't see why they would think that way. She has always been loyal to the strongest which at this point is the Empire/Prime Minister and his group (which for now does include Wild Hunt even if it is obvious that they will betray him at some point). At best I could just see her letting them fight it out to determine the "strongest" but for the life of me I couldn't see her siding with Wave outright even if he is a comrade.
Now that would be a change of pace for once, actual relationships in a battle manga where someone doesn't die off instantly for emotional impact? What a insane idea! .
