I didn't get the hesitation either. It wasn't present in the other versions, so either they are making her "nicer" (she hesitated to kill him) or they're throwing in something new with her.

I'd guess they just had her hesitate to make her seem less cold-blooded. Showing some hesitation in the face of killing an unarmed and helpless opponent. Is a bit strange considering she seemed to have accepted the necessity. But since the ED and such is clearly pointing her out as a harem member they might be wanting to soften her up a bit.

After checking out the first episode, it didn't seem so bad- I was reminded a bit of Dragon Crisis and another old series that I can't quite remember the name of (it had dragons being summoned in VR, and the lead's dragon went from chibi mode to Badass mode). The only thing that's going to annoy me, based on the OP, is the MC being able to summon semi-futuristic armor- I wouldn't minded more fantasy-like armor, but that armor doesn't have the fantasy feel to it

As far as I am concerned, Navi and Eco are two different people. Until Eco starts showing signs of Navi(if she ever does), that will be my position.

Sometimes I feel like comprehension is lost with people on this forum.

I am also predicting that the masked man is the Peincess's 'executed' brother. We shall see how far off I am there
