The manga has now around 24/25 vol and the first series stop around vol11
So thre is probably enough story to make a second season

Well the one anime that I really really want to have a sequel is Rozen Maiden. The 1st 2 series of Rozen Maiden is a gem and I just wanted somemore after watching the finale of Rozen Maiden traumend, the already interesting storyline could go on and I'm sure if there's a 3rd series it would be more popular than the previous 2.

Chobits
Trigun
Yumeria
CardCaptor Sakura (Sakura rules )
Aishiteruze Baby
To Heart (an extra with the old characters please)
MaiHime (yes yes I need more of that )

Full Season for:

simply all the shows that were never properly finished, in order of desire to watch

Slam Dunk
Kenshin
Kare Kano
Trinity Blood
Tenjou Tenge

the only show that had a conclusive ending i want to see more of is Macross (that's completely unrelated to the disappointment that was Macross 7).

didn't list Full Metal Panic or Initial D as i believe those will be continued in due time anyway.

Chrno Crusade because
Spoiler:

But not for the reasons stated above
I just think there's great potential in a sequel with Chrno and Rosette

I want to see more Hikaru no go

I just finished waching this anime today. I got hooked with this story and wanna see more and more. It doesn't need to be the same as the manga (I hate its ending). Is i possible that any company will create more Hikaru with different or same story line of manga?

I love to see relationship between Hikaru and Go, Hikaru and Toya/ other friends, and Hikaru with Sai.

Oh! my god. I love this story both manga and anime. I think that the ending of this story is bad and I want it to be changed. I want to see main characters grown up and story keep forward.

Fullmetal Alchemist - what kind of crap ending is that?

Shakugan no Shana - one of the best animes ive watched this year and they absolutely have to make a second season after the ***** because it has something to do with the bad guys (i dunno how to make a spoiler tag so meh)

Tenjou Tenge - how is the Ultimate Fight OVA an "ultimate fight"? i can't find the manga anywhere either

Black Cat - err the manga is so different..and i think theres more stuff to it

Aishiteruze Baby - ending didnt resolve anything

Mai HiME/Otome - 3rd season? why not?

Elfen Lied - wtf happens?

Chrno Crusade - may i say rushed ending?

The responses in this thread gave me a lot to think about, and also proved that some of my long-held assumptions were wrong. I expected many individuals would list shows that conformed to their favorite genre, e.g. "I like giant robot shows". I also expected many to list a couple dumbed-down shows that were designed for mass appeal. But no, folks listed the same few excellent shows even though they were from totally different genres, were specialized in nature, and required significant effort to keep up with. I found this very encouraging because it suggested to me that real fans could appreciate a good story regardless of the cover it was hidden behind, and weren't put off by having to think. Cheers to you all!

Like everyone, I'd want more of my favorite shows, but some series are "just right" and don't need anything more, e.g. "Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora". However, there are some series that I could logically see more episodes for:
  • Aishiteruze Baby: If someone had tried to recommend this show to me before I'd seen any of it, I would have laughed and skipped it, thinking it was too dorky to bother with. But it turned out to be one of my favorites and I want to know what happened next.
  • Kino no Tabe: I loved the show's exotic-yet-disturbingly-familiar places and want to visit more of them.
  • Kita-he, Diamond Dust Drops: These two or three episode personal stories were excellent.
  • Fruits Basket: Just because everyone's admitted that they were crazy doesn't mean that the story is over.
  • Ichigo Mashimaro: Although nothing ever happened, this was a delightful series and I would enjoy seeing some more of their lazy days.
  • Last Exile: Such a huge and elaborate universe could have easily supported another few series.
  • Narutaru: This remarkable show had sooooo many stories left to tell.
  • Continuation or new series from makers of PLANETES. That show was pure awesomeness.
  • Continuation or new series from Elfen Lied's makers.
  • New series from makers of Boogiepop and Paranoia Agent.
  • Fullmetal Alchemist deserves a new ending to make up for that absurdly crappy conclusion and silly movie.

The one series which drowns out any calls from anywhere else is Narutaru. One of my favourite series of all time, and precisely half the source material done, and at present, an absolute non-ending.

Oh, and KareKano of course. Pretty much all of that can be applied to it too. But somehow I'm far hungrier for the Narutaru option, probably because the big dramatic things in it were at the end, whilst KareKano's best episodes were basically the first half of it.
