Yea, I remember he had to touch the wires in the previous ep. But this one is over doing it, I mean even Neo Zeong needed wires to tap into MSes to take control over them.

FF: Ah, now that makes sense. As a viewer that didn't read the novel, it wasn't quite clear on where FF originated but kind of gave a hint when he keeps mentioning he's a vessel, and has the collective wills of people. It really seems he was programmed the way he spoke in this episode so I had a hunch. Wonder if it is the same company that Nanai enhanced Gyunei in CCA.

Shield: Good catch. I rewatched it and noticed that too...but really confused as that explosion should've taken out the shield as well being attached to it and all.

The psycho powers of this episode is so ridiculous, it gives me a Super Robot Wars vibe.

as for the shield, While its I-Field is whats protecting it from all the energy based attacks, It has shown it self capable of surviving multiple missile hits from Neo Zeong, and a direct hit from rozen zulu's heat Claw, so its somewhat believable that it survived the twin Gatling's explosion. I just chalk it up to Bullshit NT powers when unicorn is in green NTD mode. After all i m not even sure if Gryps 2's 9200000 megawatt per second output laser beam even managed to destroyed all 3 of the shield at the end.
Indeed, after watching this episode, one might as well classify Unicorn and Banshee as Supers instead of reals in the next SRW Z3 installment.

Yep, but we all should've expected this. I mean, Nu Gundam with only pychoframe cockpit can move an object as big as Axis. In comparison, the Unicorn has psychoframe all over the body. Do the math .

I believe I-Fields are only effective against beam weaponry, not shells. At the end, that flick of a wrist disabled the entire EFSF MS squadron
At least the Solar Ray cracked the Unicorn, though the shield should be a goner. Oh well...

That made more sense people the entire world was watching, concentrate MS and many people's will concentrated into 1 place. Whereas this was at the edge of a colony with no broadcast and nothing else aside from the Nahel Argama Crew and Zeon Remant forces. Where does Banagher and Riddhe gather people's collective wills when no one knows about it?



Regardless, good show and its finally over. That scene where Neo Zeong holding Unicorn floating around in space/time made me lol.

I believe what Banagher did was not controlling the Rozen Zulu, but showed Angelo some Newtype hallucination. Note that Angelo himself motioned his hand towards his chest during that hallucination, which in turn caused the wired arm to fly towards the main body.

Also, the psychoframe turns willpower into physical power (note how the shields have no thrusters. Remember in episode 5 when the unicorn basically pulled the Garencieres up into space when it should have been torn into halves within seconds). So when the psychoframe is basically green its impervious to physical damage, couple that with an I-field and it can block anything.

Good stuff: Mecha porn all over, music was nice. Marida, etc. top notch!

Bad stuff: Neo Zeong falling apart, i wanted teamwork and the neo zeong being shot apart part by part, including the final double-shot. not a wormhole tardis traveling while never ending story played in my head.

Would've been nice to get some kind of epilogue after the episode was over, we didnt really see much after that, but hell, it could've been worse!

Solid 9/10. The freshly animated flashbacks, the cameos, the Mecha porn was beautiful. Beautifully done, the Neo Zeong was a nice addition overall, but it was such a monster. I guess you need to have something that can blow ammo up when your enemies starts pooping rainbows and block colony lasers though.

Mecha porn everywhere, as someone who didn't read the novel, I'm don't know if it's the same ending but I like the ova version.

The bad stuff would be the Neo Zeong/Unicorn time-travel, I mean, WTF?

And I suppose the ending is open to many interpretations?

Since I'm immune to spoilers, I can read all these spoilers without any regrets. (I'm serious, I can fully enjoy a movie/novel/anime even if I do know major spoilers).

Wow, just reading all these posts are getting me really amped up for this one. I'll have to wait for the sub though. T_T Watching it raw will be a waste of time, so I'll wait it out.

I'm especially looking forward to the flashbacks & mecha porn.

I'll have to give this one a straight 10. There's hardly anything I can say "No" to in this episode, not even the psycho field part.

The music is all-around much, much better, one of the prime examples where remixed themes actually go tenfolds better when coupled with fittingly epic scenes. That Neo Zeong though... I know there are other fearsome mega mobile units preceding it but this one, it totally rewrites the definition of a "nightmare".

IT IS FINALLY OVER! After a thousand centuries of Bandai endlessly milking this longer than they should have it ends and it ended with a bang. A nice bang filled with tons of action where everything ended and came together magnificently. Real shame we had to chuck through so many endless dialogue storms that took up all the other episodes except for 4. At least it looked pretty.

Awesome episode a lot of info, too much Banagher he's so annoying I almost hate him as much as I hate Amuro. I felt bad for Riddhe I don't know why Mineva chose annoying ass Banagher over him, well it just shows you that the less attention you give a woman more she wants you . In the end of course they kill of FF even though he was a fake char still hurts to see him dead, especially Angelo's "Captain". My God Neo Zeong was hideous and humongous, don't know why it had "Zeong" in its name it looks nothing like that beautiful piece of art

It was basically 90 minutes of unadulterated, pure, fanwank towards the UC series; naturally I love it. Maybe more references towards the Zs series would not have hurt though.

One thing I didn't like was the ending, as always anime cannot make a decent ending. I'm invested in these characters and I have no idea what happened to them. It's worse knowing that General Revil is on its way and the outcome of the EF in F91 and V. So basically my assumption is that the EF has successfully managed to silence them and that the characters all died shortly after the end. Unless there is a massive retcon or a novel series I'm not aware of.

Amazing finale. One thing I liked in particular was the music. The music always seemed to fit the situation and could easily make sure I was invested in the current scene. The only real cons I see was that Full Frontal's defeat was sort of anticlimactic and I would have liked a little more closure for the characters.

Alternate future, my boy, alternate future.

After all the central theme of Unicorn is possibilities. Even if F91 and Victory Gundam are not officially retconned, we can always imagine what it would be like if they managed to defeat General Revil and the worldwide broadcast somehow brings the curtain down on the neverending conflict between Zeon and the Feddies.
