True, wave. I know one hell of an insane writer: he wrote a crossover about My little Pones and Fall-Out... It was scary.
Hey, just a random question (I'm good at these): What genre of story you prefer writing? What genre of story you prefer reading?

Depends on the source material (if applicable).
For a manga story like Claymore, which is a pretty dark and has a very serious tone (most of the time) - I prefer silly, fun stories with the characters with the occasional character self-introspection and an epic tossed in now and again. Case in point - I wrote All Work and No Play very early in my fan-ficcing career. It still remains as one of my most fun pieces that I've written to date. I think that I was the first one to pen the first snowball fight between the 7 Ghosts. I also helped a bit at first in this other story as well - Stories from the North. Later on, around chapter 6 - 8, he came out with some amazing writing. Selfish plug but check it out - it's written so that you don't really need to know the characters beforehand - you get to know them as the story goes on. I like those kind of stories as well. For a manga like Rosario + Vampire - AU's all the way. Not that I dislike the sauce, but to see a different side of the characters and to bring out potential in them, they need to be put in a different set of circumstances or a completely different setting. Actually it's similar to how I approach Infinite Stratos... I actually have several genres that I stick to, mostly the fun, light-hearted stuff. One of the reasons why I do the Ori-cest so much for IS is that it's fun (for me). Hmmm...Claymore and IS.... Spoiler for Brainstorm - no need to read:

So, what other scene were you unhappy with?
Chifuyu folded her arms. "All of them." *slip* Y-you can't be serious... The woman raised an eyebrow. "Ho~h? Do I look like I'm filling the world with sunshine and happiness right now?" ... "I thought so. And yes, ALL OF THEM." Was it the blushing? Was it the fact that they showed you being so annoyed with him all the time? I must admit, calling Dunois to perform 'Rapid Switch' on him was pretty mean, even though you knew EXACTLY what happened to him before class. "I-I don't care. He shouldn't be late to class - period." Don't you mean your class? The woman's eyes narrowed as thunder rumbled not too far away. "Care to repeat that...?" Lightning flashed overhead as she spoke. ...n-no thank you. "Good." The ominous looking clouds disappeared just as quickly. "Now, this is the list of what needs to be changed. And make it quick - I'd rather not keep up this pretense of being such a brocon that I can't keep my panties on around that idiot." But no one has said tha- "Chifuyu-nee," came the grating yet melodious call of one Ichika Orimura. He poked his head in the doorway of the room. "I'm doing the laundry, do you have anything that needs to go?" "Ah, yeah I do," she remembered, reaching for the small pile near her bed. She froze as she was reaching for it, then straightened her back as she stood up again. "I'll...get it to you later." "Eh? I don't want to have to come back up later for it," he told her as he walked into the room. "Idiot! Listen to your sister for once. I said I'll get it to you later." Ichika sighed. "Is it your underwear again? I'm running the 'delicates' now anyway so just let me have them." Heh heh, so that's why she suddenly turned shy... certainly can't keep them on around him, eh? The room seemed to flash-freeze in that instant. "Die."

Just dropping in to congratulate Tempest: The latest chapter of your Ichika/Chifuyu/Madoka story was a great example of the inherent double standard in IS society, without going over the top and turning females into genocidal harlots or xenomorphs.

Zero no Tsukaima and Dark Souls crossover I've been trying to finish 'This means war' but I can't determine how Laura copying Charlotte and being a 'nice girl' can blow up in Ichika's face.
Oh and I just found that Ping refuses to translate. There goes volume 9

Never let the canon material get you down: ZNT ain't exactly an easy thing to work with but writing is fun, so it's tolerable. I can't write Future Imperfect though; every chapter I try to make is darker than the last and I doubt people still care enough to read it given the last update date.
