This is mainly a comedy, it doesn't have much plot besides Nozaki's shenanigans while making/researching for his manga with the people who help him and the antics of the rest of the characters.
This is the main cast: Sakura is the one with orange hair and Nozaki the one next to her

Poor girl...
That was totally embarrassing. That guy is so serious and calm. Definitely not a typical mangaka. They do make a good team though. The bicycle part was totally LOL Well, this was more fun then I expected. I'm pleasantly surprised. Will be watching this!

I like what I saw and I'm glad to learn that its a rom-com with a great emphasis on the comedy part. Watching the show mine the laughs by constantly subverting Sakura's romantic expectations might get a wee bit repetitive at some point but the increase in cast size might take care of that little problem and make sure the show stays fresh with the gags.
I'm already fond of Nozaki-kun as he's the polar opposite of your typical shojo protagonist. He's not a pansy looking bishounen for starters and he doesn't give off a r*pey vibe to boot. He's also not Mr. Perfect who excels in everything he does nor is he popular despite being a successful author. What I find really funny about him is even though Nozaki's completely clueless when it comes to love matters in real life, he draws highly sensitive protagonists in his stories who are slaves to their love interest's whims and fancies. The premiere's a little fast paced but it didn't take me long to get into it and enjoy watching Sakura getting tongue tied every time she's on the verge of confessing. Definitely watching this one. |

I like manga and I will love anime too. Every moment worked exactly how it was supposed. In first moment I was suprised how soft voice Sakura has, but that's cause I forgot that her deadpan one wasn't her default before meeting Nozaki-kun
And next time We get introduction of Mikorin and Yuzuki. Can't wait. |

I must admit I was literally lol'ing throughout the entire ep. Especially the bicycle sequence....
Interestingly I found the anime adaptation more effective than the manga. Definite follow, but I hope they can keep it up.

Awww, this was adorable and funny. Definitely on my watch list! Also, lol they got Miyano Mamoru to voice Suzuki-kun from the manga. XD
(Although it keeps reminding me of my despair over Otomen not having an anime, only a crappy TV soap adaptation. Fyi in Otomen one of the main plotlines is how the main character Asuka is secretly a huge fan of shoujo manga, especially the series that is secretly written by his best friend Juuta under a female penname; and how Juuta keeps using Asuka as his muse for the heroine in his manga - conveniently also named Asuka -, eventually ending up chronicling Asuka's romance with a girl, except all genderswapped. I always thought it was excellent anime material, but it never happened. ) |

Enjoyable. Chiyo not being able to say what she means could get old quickly, and the bicycle scenes went on too long for my taste, but overall this is really well done and lots of fun. The new seiyuu, Ozawa Ari, made the character work. And Nakamura is right there.

"Magical Jesus", I still can't believe many people still calls him that way.
Some people calls him "Elitist Trash" though. To Nozaki, being called a fan is to be expected. If he was not a manga artist or anything of the sort, it is acutally weird to called his "fan" because him as a ordinary student is not that popular. I wonder what would be the outcome if he really was just a ordinary high school student, he might have thought "am I famous?" and gives a different reaction might give Chiyo an opening for successful confession, which she might fail again. |

While you guys and gals liked the bike scene, I liked the cat scene (cat lover here). It was funny that more cats appeared after he saved the first one.
Definitely a good start. I was laughing through most of the episode too. This will be one of the ones I'll watch this summer. |
