He has a pretty strong and rather rural-like accent. Heavy bavarian, that's a good lot different than the other three.

And classy interview by Julio Cesar. Saying he would have rather lost 1:0 by a mistake of him than 7:1 like that.

Too bad Germany couldn't keep a clean sheet, and they let in that goal really easy. Though maybe they're just taking the pre-caution of avoiding being shot by angry mobs in Brazil.

Just one more World Cup to win Germany in 2018, and they'll take a vacation.

Just at least to be equal to Brazil for 5 times.

Although Brazil sure have a lot of problems, most of us are not barbarians here. Plus, we kinda symphatize with Germany national team and I doubt that this feeling will change after this result. I just hope that our country will keep doing a good job as WC's host.

What a game.

I was expecting Brazil to be in trouble but to see Germany disposing of them so quickly...

Wow. Hats off to Germany.

Hey, don't forget we're in the race for that too (though God knows when we'll ever be competitive again).

Things can turn fast. Who would have thought in early 2006 after Germany was thrashed 4:1 in a friendly against Italy that half a year later the team would end up in the semis?

Unbelievable, I dislike current Brazil but never in my wildest dreams I would have thought that they would take 7 goals in their own house, I think right now they would gladly take the Maracanazo, since well, Maracanazo was caused by the geniality of a single man, Alcides Ghiggia, but this, this was an humilliation, caused by the incompetence of 10 men (poor Julio Cesar is just a victim of the circumstances) and their coach, and not only that, but Ronaldo's record was also broken.. so it's a double slap to the face of the brazilian fan..
Now they're paying Scolari's arrogance in not taking Dinho, Robinho and Kaká to the WC..

I hope Brazilian football will use this defeat for some soul-searching, like the Germans did around 2000, and reinvent their game.

I wanted Italy to face Brazil in final match as a redemption for their loss in 1994

It's been 20 years since that day

I fear he will. Oh well, I'll just have to pretend team Italy won't exist for the next two years.

That still stings a lot... specially because of Baggio's miss. :[

Oh well we'll get our revenge one day, just like the Germans will get theirs against us too, hehe.

Right now I'm picturing you guys swimming in rivers of beer across Germany.

Oh and I can't have enough words of praise for Müller, Kroos and Klose. Such amazing footballers.

The big test will be the final. Can they finally close the deal? The hype will be enormous. No matter who faces Germany, everybody outside the opposing country will declare Germany favourite. The opponent will be massively motivated.

Indeed, a win like this can be a double-edged sword and might cause Germany to be too relaxed, but I don't think they'll slip up this time. They've already been so close a lot of times in the past years and I think they've learned from their mistakes and naivety. They've matured a lot in terms personality and self-confidence.

This team might not play as pretty as they used to do years ago but they're far more cynical and concentrated, which is what you need to be if you want to win it all.

Germany goose-stepped right up to them and curb-stomped their sorry asses.

Of all of the jokes and memes flying around the internet, THIS tops the lot as you listen how Jim Ross (WWF commentator) would describe the Brazil/Germany match.

I don't think I will able to stop laughing until tomorrow morning.

Ok, now after seeing this one, I think that's enough internet for today.

This Germany team, the mannschaft deserves to be called the "Fourth Reich".

And, this match against Brazil will be remembered for over 1000 World Cups.

A stunning lack of character by team Brazil, but what really struck me was the class the fans showed after the seventh goal - Shurrle's gorgeous finish off the gorgeous setup. They stood and cheered a brilliant display of clinical brilliance by Germany. Very nice to see, on what amounts to the darkest day in the history of Brazilian football.
