Didn't he say that he was a little jealous of Pursena and Rinia? Eris had been sleeping with those two, but not with him recently so like a spurned wife in a harem, he felt lonely and jealous.

He then notes that it's a bit strange because he was supposed to be the harem master of the house, but that might not actually be the case.

The only thing that kept me from being a complete wreck durring Rudi's break down in the parent chapter is I kept haveing the DBZA why didn't you dodge gag going though my mind. Then he got to when he was asking himself if he could have dodged it I went from being choked up to cracking up.

i suppose eventually rudeus would be among the Seven Great Major Powers. he really need to learn matoi though. too bad he not interested in learning God rank magic from Orstead since to cast god rank magic he need to draw magic circle. would be useful to learn as an option just in case..

Its not that he isn't interested, there are many factors involved.

One is, the effects of God Rank Magic is like a nuke, permanently changes the structure of the landscape.

Second, its kind of impractical and overkill. At the moment, even his magic right now can cause heavy damage to Orsted. Said by Orsted himself. There really isn't a need to learn it.

Third, its takes too long, Rudeus is a front line Magician. Roxy is better suited for that since she is a deep support Magician and thus will have plenty of time to chant and draw. Its fits her fighting style more so than Rudeus.

Fourth is that it is extremely hard to learn it from Orsted, probably take a year for Rudeus due to Orsted not being a good teacher.

Fifth, the time spent learning God Rank for a particular magic element could be better spent in improving many other areas that he is weak in. Rudeus can accumulate more attack and defensive magic into his arsenal rather than one high power magic that don't fit his fighting style.

So last I remember reading about him he was sent away to another country way back in vol5 so how the hell does he not only start but successfully pull off a coup at the end of v19. Did they run into him in a later volume that has not been translated yet? (15 maybe)
