I've had 3 Mutsu's drop this week.
My friend, who is a level 11 admiral who plays for 15 minutes a day, had a Mutsu drop during a daily quest.

Is this a warning to me not to stand too near any cannon turrets?

Sorry about that, I could see how that would confuse you. Daily ship build quest. He was doing the usual 400/100/600/30, since he's trying to get ready for 2-4. Wikiwiki says that has a 2.38% drop rate.

Ah, okay.

I'm still without either Nagato or Mutsu... Hope to get at least one of them at E4 once I'm tackling it on Monday. Meanwhile recovering bauxite. Got 2,000 yesterday, hope to be back at 11,000 on Monday so I can restart. Kaga's now at 22, perhaps she'll be ready to replace Zuihou for E4.

I had very low expectation for the kill run, Yamato and Nagato were already at orange at CV hime (both battered by a line ahead Ta class at node A). Then CV hime decides to let me through. "This is definitely going to be a failed run" I thought.

Support comes through, knocking out the a DD and Wo-class out. Opening airstrike knocks out a DD and KTKM sends the Ru class to red. The daytime skirmish sends both BB hime to half health and knocks out the Ru-class. GG for night battle, as KTKM does her cut-in.

What this battle taught me was that a good boss support can make a huge difference between a clear and a failed boss attempt. I initially used a weaker team for killzone attempts (Fusou sisters in their 40s, Shohou in the 50s, Junyuu at 35) before I switched to the boss expedition composition below.

The attempts leading up to this was incredibly frustrating though. My goal was to fully see through this event but I didn't expect the torment that would come from E-6. Prior to E-6, I thought Spring E-5 was bad enough...

Now that this is over, time for some LSC for Musashi and some whaling attempts at E-3.

Burnt much resources?

I planned to dump the rest of my resources into LSC for Musashi too. BUt have to clear the dorm first. E-6 running gave me 4 Maruyu so have to get them all to remodel.

Why don't you do 3-3 first node for Mutsu? Maybe after the event ends?

Should be the easiest node that drop her. GOt her from there myself as well

I didn't get one single Maruyu from E6. I got the E7 DDs though, but I already got them in E7. My only notable drop was Shoukaku.

Been farming E4 lately. My haul from this map is 5 Akitsumaru. This is really the best way to get her!

Sounds tempting, but i don't want to specifically farm for ships (for stock equipment perhaphs)...Felt it to be too much like this:

I think that everyone will go for her boats and her ASW gears. Stick'em onto Hyuuga and RJ and you have yourself a 1-5 srank party.

I failed too many LSC. So already have 4 set of those...

But yeah I think my Hyuuga and RJ actually hit harder than the DD with those on

Pft, you guys are weaksauce with regards to LSC shenanigans. At one point, I had eight landing craft. So ask yourselves, how many Akitsumarus did I have in my first account, hmm?
