His Chinese name was 威克提姆 (Wēi kè tí mǔ) and we had no idea what it means so we went with Wendigo, because the 8th floor was the wilderness so Wendigo fits. Tbh Victim doesn't sound like a monster at all so we never though of it.

Well Momonga is flying squirrel in chinese.. So without the original japanese text Momonga might be known as flying squirrel sama lol

Strange, I remember the 8th dungeon has generated bosses monster, not NPC so there is nobody to call. Since its the last defense, so the monsters are very strong.
If enemies are able to pass the 8th, there is nothing to stop them. 9th and 10th has the Throne room where Players make the final stand.
These information I got from GT-ing Chinese translation so maybe not total accurate.

As far as I read in the first few parts of the WN, some of the guardians are not really regarded as guardians. I believe Demiurge mentioned that "Gargantua is not a guardian, hes just a golem" at one point in the WN

From the name, Gargantua is probably a colossal golem who guards the floor, that mean it probably follows the orders and can't talk, its size even explain why it wasn't called at the colosseum.

He is the creator of Albedo and one the the guild members. We are gonna change his name to Tabula Smaragdina after Imotolicous told us his real name. His name means emerald table so we used Chuyulu before. Calling someone Emerald table-san is just weird...

i though cacytus still in his fantasies...? because after the question demiurge say “… Then we should talk to Momonga-sama about this. Perhaps we can make every all
youngster around dress like this... Cocytus should be almost be done with his fantasies.”

Momonga is japanese for a flying squirrel http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanes...lying_squirrel so they probably translated that literally.
