If so, then only two more months of interviews to go. I wonder if those two were the only ones "interviewed" or if there were others too?

And Mio still gets shoved aside. Buttmonkey confirmed? Maybe their agency is too poor for one, or they're just too new to get one. Then again, broducer was a surprise the first time around as well. |

I actually thought the way they used Producer in ep 1 of Idolm@ster was very clever and effective, personally.
As for Cinderella Girls, it's kinda hard for me to get a clear read on stuff at the moment. Only one short pv after all, and in a series where piles of characters are involved.... I do not remember if there has been "official" affirmation for two cour, though. Anyone else happen to have heard something definite?

The video also hints that the broadcasting channels and dates will be announced at midnight on November 4 (effectively November 5). The THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS -ANIMATION FIRST SET- DVD and Blu-ray package will go on sale on November 5 as well. The package will contain a video digest from the Cinderella Girls concert, as well as the "Onegai! Cinderella" (Please! Cinderella) animated promotional video for the game. The website also confirms that Ayaka Fukuhara (Rin Shibuya), Natsumi Takamori (Miku Maekawa), and Nozomi Yamamoto (Rika Jōgasaki) will appear as cast members at a Machi Asobi event on October 11 celebrating the anime adaptation. Ruriko Aoki (Riina Tada) and Sayuri Hara (Mio Honda) will also host a weekly live Niconico program for the anime. |

That said A-1's stuff is definitely looking better than in the past and this has Bandai Namco pumping money into the funding pot as well, though considering I hear they literally work their animators to death that sort of doesn't come as a surprise and also explains the general unevenness of their animation quality. Lot of really really tired and underpaid animators working 20 hour days seven days a week to bring this stuff to the screen. |

I can't remember if I asked this here (or elsewhere) already, but is Rin effectively going to be the "Chihaya" of this group's lead trio?
Since Rin was the very first one to be given her own voice, I'm surpised that more isn't said about her so far. Also, I wonder if there will be any new Puchidols based on these characters?

More or less, as that's been her vibe since forever. IIRC Chihaya is one of her aspirations.

Just like the original Im@s, the girls are simple, but likable and effective at what they do. And no, nothing yet on puchis. They're somewhat alike, but Rin is not a carbon copy. |

Cinderella Girls puchid@ls, eh? Hmm ... not that I have heard.
For the Cinderella Girls in general ... there are plenty that have hard backgrounds like Chihaya did, sometimes absolutely horrific backgrounds. But (of course) since they are different people they manifest it and strive to overcome it in different ways. As far as I am aware of, though, much of the manga material and online summaries only touch on the C. Girls in an "introductory" way, and do not go into as much detail for their progression personality wise. There may be more of that in the game itself, but if there is I have not had the good fortune to either come across summaries including such details or piece two and two together if I have come across such things and just spaced out about it. To be honest that is one of the things I am hoping for in the anime adaptation; that is, an opportunity to flesh out the characters and their personalities more and get more of an idea of what they are like by how they will be presented to us! ^^

Well, Kanako has a trainer I think it will be dumb to not have a producer.
Also, he will be revealed until the end. if not in the anime. I'm@s starts with rookie idols. CG is about recruiting/raising them from scratch so you need someone to do that job. |
